Project Overview
The Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility Pretreatment Improvements project addressed two longstanding operational challenges at the City of Orlando's facility in Oviedo, Florida. The $25,700,000 project improved grit removal efficiency to eliminate the costly, disruptive shutdown events required to clear accumulated grit from the aeration basins, and implemented a new RAS blending and flow splitting system to deliver equal organic and nutrient loading to all four BNR treatment trains. Together, the improvements were designed to increase treatment efficiency and reduce operational disruptions across the facility. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where technical process improvements had to be made clear and compelling for a municipal owner:
A dual-scope project addressing grit removal and BNR flow distribution required visuals that made the treatment logic legible to evaluators.
The operational disruption caused by grit accumulation required imagery that put the proposed solution's value in clear context.
A $25.7M municipal contract required visual assets that translated process engineering into a credible, evaluator-friendly story.
Together, these called for renderings and animations that made a technically dense project accessible without losing its depth.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility Pretreatment Improvements in Oviedo, Florida. The renderings depicted the improved grit removal system and the new RAS blending and flow splitting infrastructure, making the process improvements and their physical integration with the existing facility visible to evaluators. The animations illustrated how the upgraded pretreatment sequence would function, from improved fine grit capture through to equalized loading across the four BNR treatment trains. Each deliverable was designed to help the City of Orlando's evaluation team understand both the technical approach and the operational benefit it would deliver.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX focused on one core challenge: making a technically complex process upgrade legible to a municipal owner.
Developed renderings that depicted the improved grit removal and RAS blending infrastructure in the context of the existing plant.
Produced animations that illustrated the improved pretreatment sequence, showing how grit removal and flow equalization would work in operation.
Calibrated all deliverables to communicate operational value, connecting each technical improvement to its direct benefit for the facility.
The result was a visual package that gave the client's pursuit the technical credibility and evaluator accessibility the project demanded.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a rendering and animation package that translated a complex water treatment upgrade into a clear municipal pursuit story.
Renderings depicted the improved grit removal and RAS blending systems in plant context, giving evaluators a concrete picture of the scope.
Animations illustrated the improved pretreatment sequence in operation, connecting each technical change to its operational benefit.
The combined package gave the client visual assets calibrated for a municipal audience evaluating a $25.7M process investment.
The client entered the City of Orlando selection fully equipped to make a credible, visually supported technical case.
