Project Overview

The client engaged PRESWERX to support its pursuit of the Clark County Fire Training Center and Garage in Las Vegas, Nevada, a comprehensive redevelopment valued at approximately $94 million to $99 million. The project involved demolishing an existing facility on a 6.26-acre site and constructing a new complex to serve a county population that had grown from 525,000 to more than 2.3 million residents since 1983. The new facility encompassed 143,000 square feet of podium structure, a three-story parking garage, a two-story training center, an 8,400-square-foot fire station, an 11,600-square-foot prefabricated burn tower, and a 27,000-square-foot maintenance building. PRESWERX provided full pursuit support including proposal development, presentation design, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations.

Client Challenges

The client faced the challenge of conveying the complexity and scale of a multi-structure redevelopment to a selection committee that expected both technical rigor and compelling vision. Key obstacles included:

  • Communicating a dense, phased program spanning five distinct structures as a unified, coherent story

  • Visualizing a modern training environment that did not yet exist on a constrained urban site

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive procurement serving a high-profile public safety agency

  • Preparing for a live selection presentation with a consistent, polished narrative

Each of these challenges required coordinated strategy across written, visual, and verbal communication.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package tailored to the scope and audience of a major public safety facility redevelopment. The proposal was developed to articulate the client's technical approach and project understanding across a program that spanned five structures and multiple building typologies. Architectural renderings brought the new training environment to life, capturing the podium structure, burn tower, fire station, and maintenance building in a way that gave evaluators a clear picture of the completed campus. Animated sequences illustrated site flow, structural relationships, and the facility's operational logic. A full presentation was designed and rehearsed through coaching sessions that sharpened the client team's delivery and message clarity for the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the engagement as a strategic communications partner, building a pursuit narrative around the county's growth story and the facility's role in protecting a transformed community. The team:

  • Developed proposal content that framed the redevelopment as a long-overdue, mission-critical investment rather than a routine construction project

  • Produced renderings and animations that gave evaluators a visceral sense of the finished campus across all five program components

  • Coached the client presentation team through live rehearsals that reinforced message consistency and presentation confidence

The result was a fully integrated pursuit package where every element, from the written proposal to the live presentation, told the same story.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete, polished pursuit package that positioned the client to compete at the highest level for a $94 million public safety contract. Specific outcomes included:

  • A proposal narrative that contextualized the project's scale within Clark County's decades-long population growth, giving evaluators a compelling rationale for the investment

  • Renderings and animations that translated a complex, multi-structure program into a clear, compelling visual story

  • A presentation coaching process that prepared the client team to deliver a focused, consistent message under live interview conditions

Going into the selection, the client team was well prepared, well rehearsed, and backed by pursuit materials that matched the ambition of the project.
