Project Overview
The ATL Concourse D Delta Sky Club project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport delivered a new 22,000 square foot premium lounge to meet demand that had outgrown the existing facilities on Concourse D. The $92,000,000 project encompassed airside shell space and full build-out between Gates D14 and D16, including a new lobby, vertical transportation access, deep foundations, structural steel, exterior envelope, mechanical mezzanine, and Passenger Boarding Bridge modifications. Executed within one of the world's busiest active airports, the project required precise coordination across civil, structural, and building systems. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.
Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where premium hospitality and complex airside construction had to read equally well with an airport owner:
A 22,000 square foot lounge in an active airside environment required imagery that conveyed both design quality and construction complexity.
A scope spanning shell construction, deep foundations, PBB modifications, and a mechanical mezzanine required visuals that made the program legible.
A $92M airport lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson required assets that matched the prestige of a premium travel destination.
Together, these called for a package that could carry an airport project from construction scope to guest experience.
Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the ATL Concourse D Delta Sky Club at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The renderings captured the premium lounge environment, depicting the new lobby, vertical circulation, and the finished interior of a 22,000 square foot Delta Sky Club built to the brand's awardwinning standards. The animations brought the completed space to life, conveying the guest experience of a new premium travel destination at one of the world's busiest airports. Each deliverable was calibrated to communicate both the quality of the finished lounge and the complexity of the airside construction it required.
