Project Overview
The W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility Biosolids Facilities Upgrade in Jonesboro, Georgia replaced the aging biosolids management facilities at the Clayton County Water Authority's primary wastewater recovery plant. The $91,100,000 project replaces end-of-life biosolids handling infrastructure and expands the plant's biosolids processing capacity from 19 to 32 million gallons per day, preparing the facility for future liquid treatment growth. New and expanded processes include primary sludge anaerobic digestion, dewatering, cake receiving, and thermal drying. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings, animations, a presentation, coaching, and film in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where a biosolids replacement had to address both end-of-life infrastructure and future capacity growth at once:
A facility replacing end-of-life equipment while expanding to 32 MGD required a package that communicated both the urgency and the long-term investment.
Processes including anaerobic digestion, thermal drying, and dewatering required a presentation that made the technical scope legible to a water authority audience.
A $91.1M project required renderings, animations, and film that made the full facility upgrade compelling to a public authority.
Together, these called for a full-format package equal to the technical and public significance of the investment.
