Project Overview

The University of North Florida Coggin College of Business project called for a full remodel of both floors of Building 10 and a new addition connecting Building 10 to the college's Building 42. The scope was structured in two phases, with Phase IIA covering pre-construction and remodeling of the first floor and Phase IIB covering the second floor remodel, the connecting addition, and conceptual cost estimating pending state funding as UNF's top funding priority. Presenting a phased, partially funded university project required a clear picture of both the completed campus and the path to get there. PRESWERX developed the pursuit presentation, renderings, animations, and film content, and coached the team for its final interview.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a $30 million project split across a funded phase and a pending state funded phase called for a presentation that made sense of both:

  • Explaining pre-construction, GMP, and cost estimating scopes across two distinct phases without confusing the university's evaluators.

  • Visualizing a finished addition connecting two existing buildings before design was complete.

  • Making the case for Phase IIB as clearly as the funded Phase IIA, despite its funding still pending.

Clarifying both phases in one coherent story was central to the university's confidence in the team.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX built the full pursuit presentation for the interview, organizing the Phase IIA first floor remodel and the Phase IIB second floor remodel and connecting addition into one clear project narrative. The team produced renderings and animations of the finished Building 10 remodel and the new addition linking Building 10 and Building 42, along with film content supporting the presentation. PRESWERX then coached the presentation team through structured rehearsals, refining delivery and preparing responses to questions about phasing, funding status, and the pre-construction and GMP process ahead of the final interview.

PRESWERX Approach

With one phase funded and a second phase still pending state funding, the presentation needed to build confidence in the full vision:

  • Structured the narrative to present Phase IIA and Phase IIB as one unified campus vision.

  • Built renderings and animations that gave both phases a finished, tangible look.

  • Coached the team through multiple rehearsals to sharpen responses on phasing and funding questions.

The approach let the team present a complete vision, not just the funded piece of it.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a presentation package built to represent both a funded phase and the university's top funding priority:

  • A unified narrative that presented Phase IIA and Phase IIB as one complete project.

  • Renderings, animations, and film that gave the university a finished picture of Building 10 and the new addition.

  • A rehearsed team ready to answer detailed phasing and funding questions in the final interview.

The client's team walked into the interview with a complete, well rehearsed case for the full project vision.
