Project Overview
The University of Toronto Scarborough North Campus Commons in Toronto, Ontario positioned a new centralized facility at the heart of a major master plan vision for the Scarborough campus. The $98,000,000 project encompassed an 18,650 square meter site including the new commons, roads, sidewalks, bike paths, and a service corridor, with adjacent parking revisions addressing the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre South lot. Sited along Military Trail Road, the facility was designed to redirect vehicular traffic from the campus core and create a stronger pedestrian environment consistent with the Scarborough Campus Master Plan. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a presentation and provide coaching in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client needed a presentation that could carry both a construction case and a campus master plan vision:
A site spanning a new commons, roads, bike paths, service infrastructure, and parking revisions required a structure that made the full scope legible.
A project embedded in the Scarborough Campus Master Plan required the team to speak fluently to planning intent alongside construction capability.
A university evaluating a major pedestrian and traffic redesign needed confidence the contractor understood the vision driving the project.
Together, these called for a presentation and coaching approach that made a complex campus initiative feel well-commanded.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a presentation and provided coaching for the University of Toronto Scarborough North Campus Commons pursuit. The presentation was built to carry both the construction capability and the campus planning logic behind a $98M project, communicating the site's role as a centralized facility that would redirect traffic from the campus core and strengthen the pedestrian environment per the Scarborough Campus Master Plan. PRESWERX then worked with the client's team through coaching, preparing them to present the campus vision and project complexity clearly and confidently to a university evaluation team. All work was calibrated to support the competitive submission.
