Project Overview
The City of Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center was a transformative civic project designed to bring arts, education, and community engagement under one roof. Located in Miami Gardens, FL, the facility encompassed approximately 50,000 square feet of assignable space, housing a Black Box Theater, a Youth Center, a STEM facility, and a Culinary Arts Institute. Outdoor learning and gathering areas extended the building's educational mission beyond its walls. With a complex, multi-use program and a competitive public procurement process on the horizon, the client engaged PRESWERX to lead pursuit strategy, proposal development, presentation design, and interview preparation.

Client Challenges
The client faced the challenge of presenting a broad, multi-program civic facility as a single, cohesive vision to a discerning public owner:
The facility's four distinct program areas needed to read as one unified community investment, not a collection of separate spaces.
A non-technical owner required narrative and visuals that communicated scale and ambition without relying on construction terminology.
Differentiating the team in a competitive public bid demanded a compelling, polished story tailored to the owner's priorities.
A high-stakes live interview required the client's team to be fully prepared, consistent, and confident in front of a selection panel.
Together, these pressures called for a fully integrated pursuit strategy spanning both the written submission and the live selection presentation.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full-pursuit package built around the City of Miami Gardens' program requirements and public procurement process. The engagement encompassed proposal development, producing a written submission designed to translate the Performing Arts Center's scale and character into language that resonated with a public-sector owner. PRESWERX also designed the project presentation materials, organizing the facility's four program areas into a clear visual narrative that made the case for the client's team and approach. Presentation coaching sessions completed the engagement, preparing the client to deliver a confident, well-rehearsed message throughout the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated this pursuit as a strategic communications challenge, building a unified story from a complex, multi-use program and preparing the client's team to own that story in the room:
The proposal narrative was structured around the owner's community goals, framing the facility's four program areas as a single, integrated investment in Miami Gardens.
Presentation materials were designed for clarity and flow, guiding the selection panel through the project's scope and vision without relying on technical language.
Coaching sessions gave the client's team repeated practice against realistic interview conditions, sharpening delivery, tightening messaging, and building consistency across speakers.
The result was a pursuit package that reflected the client's strengths and gave the team a clear, confident voice going into the selection.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a complete, polished pursuit package calibrated to the demands of a competitive public-sector selection process:
The written proposal framed the Performing Arts Center's complex, multi-use program as a compelling community vision, organized to directly address the owner's stated priorities.
The presentation materials gave the client's team a visually cohesive, easy-to-navigate story for the live selection panel, connecting each program area to the broader mission of the project.
Coaching sessions produced measurable improvements in delivery confidence and cross-speaker consistency, ensuring the team was prepared and composed from the opening statement through Q&A.
The client entered the selection process with a sharp, well-rehearsed pursuit package and the readiness to make a strong impression before the panel.
