Project Overview
The Fremont Union High School District's modernization of Lynbrook High School in San Jose, California represented a meaningful commitment to 21st-century learning environments. Phase 1 of the project encompassed 26 classrooms and more than 30,000 square feet of interior and exterior improvements, including utility infrastructure upgrades and new outdoor learning spaces. The work was designed to transform dated facilities into collaborative, modern settings suited to contemporary teaching and learning. With a phased delivery approach and a scope that spanned multiple building systems, the client engaged PRESWERX to develop the proposal materials and presentation strategy needed to communicate the team's qualifications and the project's vision to the district.

Client Challenges
Modernizing an active high school campus presented a layered communications challenge for the pursuit team:
Translating a multi-phase, 30,000+ SF renovation scope into a clear, cohesive narrative for a school district audience unfamiliar with construction procurement
Differentiating the client's team and track record in a competitive education construction market
Conveying the transformation potential of the finished learning environments before construction began
Preparing the team to present confidently and persuasively in a live selection interview before a district panel
Together, these demands required a pursuit package that was technically credible and accessible to non-construction decision-makers.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a comprehensive suite of pursuit materials tailored to the Lynbrook High School modernization. The team produced a full written proposal that organized the client's qualifications, relevant education sector experience, and phased delivery approach into a compelling, district-appropriate narrative. Complementing the proposal was a custom presentation designed to visually communicate the scope and transformative potential of the campus improvements. PRESWERX also provided hands-on presentation coaching to prepare the client's team for the live interview, working through delivery, messaging hierarchy, and anticipated questions from the school district selection panel.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the Lynbrook pursuit as a storytelling challenge as much as a technical one, recognizing that the district was evaluating teams on their ability to understand and articulate the school's specific vision.
Framed the client's 25-year track record and education sector experience around the district's modernization goals, moving beyond a generic capability statement to a project-specific narrative
Built the presentation around the student and faculty experience that would result from the completed work, helping the selection panel envision the transformation
Conducted structured coaching sessions that sharpened delivery, aligned messaging across speakers, and built the team's confidence ahead of the interview
The result was a pursuit package and a presentation-ready team that told a consistent, compelling story from the first page to the final question.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a fully integrated proposal and presentation package that positioned the client's team to compete at the highest level for the Lynbrook High School modernization. Every deliverable was calibrated to a school district audience and held to the standard of a fully prepared, professionally coached pursuit.
The written proposal organized the client's qualifications and phased delivery approach into a clear narrative that respected the district's priorities and evaluation criteria
The custom presentation translated the renovation scope and its promise into a visual story that brought the 21st-century learning vision to life for a non-technical selection panel
Presentation coaching sessions aligned the team's delivery, tightened messaging across speakers, and ensured every presenter entered the room prepared and confident
The client's team arrived at the selection interview with a polished, consistent story and the preparation to deliver it under pressure.
