Project Overview
The Garden Elementary School Replacement was a major public education investment in Venice, Florida, commissioned by the Sarasota County School District. The project encompassed the design and construction of a new two-story, 130,000-square-foot school for approximately 950 students. The scope included demolition of most existing structures, new site drainage, parking, fencing, play areas, and paving, all on an active campus where construction activities had to remain fully separated from ongoing school operations. With a budget of $80,000,000 and demanding logistical constraints, the client needed a pursuit partner who could tell that story clearly and compellingly. PRESWERX provided proposal development, presentation design and coaching, renderings, and animations.

Client Challenges
Communicating a large, logistically complex school replacement project to a public agency required more than a strong technical response. The client needed a pursuit package that could make the complexity feel organized, the design feel realized, and the team feel prepared:
Conveying a phased construction sequence on an active, occupied campus without overwhelming evaluators with logistical detail
Demonstrating design quality and facility character before any construction had begun
Differentiating the team's approach in a competitive public procurement environment
Preparing the client's leadership to present confidently and answer evaluator questions under pressure
Each challenge demanded a targeted, disciplined pursuit strategy.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced a full suite of pursuit materials tailored to the scale and complexity of the Garden Elementary School Replacement. The proposal narrative was crafted to communicate the client's technical approach, safety plan for active campus construction, and understanding of the Sarasota County School District's program requirements. A custom presentation was designed to guide evaluators through the scope clearly, supported by high-quality renderings that visualized the completed two-story facility and brought the design to life before construction began. Animated sequences illustrated the phasing plan and site transformation. Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to deliver with clarity and confidence.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the pursuit as a storytelling challenge, centering every deliverable on the project's central tension: a large, complex school replacement built around an occupied, active campus. The team worked closely with the client to make that complexity a demonstration of capability:
Structured proposal narratives to position the phased construction and safety plan as evidence of the client's thoroughness and logistical competence
Produced renderings and animations that gave evaluators a clear, vivid picture of the completed facility and site transformation
Coached the client's presenters to communicate the approach confidently and field technical questions under pressure
The result was a pursuit package that matched the project's scale and reflected the team's preparation.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to compete at the $80,000,000 scale of this project. Every deliverable was produced to a high standard and calibrated to the expectations of a public agency evaluating a high-profile school replacement:
The proposal gave evaluators a detailed, organized view of the client's approach to constructing on an active campus while protecting students and staff
Renderings and animations made the finished facility tangible, building evaluator confidence in the design vision
Presentation coaching left the client's team prepared, polished, and ready to perform under competitive conditions
The client entered the selection process with strong materials and a well-rehearsed team.
