Project Overview

The School District of Lee County pursued a new elementary school in the East Zone of Fort Myers, Florida, representing a $97 million investment in expanding capacity for a rapidly growing district. The facility was designed to accommodate a full range of educational programming, providing modern learning environments for the community it would serve. With a competitive pursuit process ahead, the client needed a compelling proposal and presentation package that captured the scope, quality, and vision of their approach. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the proposal, lead presentation development, and prepare the team for the selection process through targeted coaching.

The client needed to stand out in a competitive public procurement for a high-profile school project. Specific challenges included:

  • Communicating the depth and complexity of a $97 million elementary school scope as a clear, owner-focused narrative that non-technical evaluators could follow.

  • Differentiating the team's qualifications and approach from other experienced education contractors competing in the region.

  • Building a cohesive presentation story that addressed the school district's priorities across a multi-person interview panel.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a comprehensive pursuit package tailored to the School District of Lee County's evaluation criteria. The team produced a written proposal that organized the client's qualifications, team structure, and project approach into a coherent, owner-focused document structured for clarity and impact. PRESWERX also designed and built a presentation specifically for the selection interview, developing the narrative arc to address the district's stated priorities and distinguish the team's approach from the competition. Presentation coaching sessions prepared each team member to deliver their portion with clarity, composure, and alignment on the overall story heading into the selection event.
