Project Overview

The Wimauma Elementary School project added a new 21,000 square foot classroom building to the existing campus for Hillsborough County Public Schools in Wimauma, Florida. Built to current educational standards, the $5.4 million addition expanded classroom capacity for the school's students while the campus's existing buildings remained fully operational throughout construction. With a straightforward classroom addition serving as the pursuit's centerpiece, the client needed a film that could bring the project to life for the selection committee. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to produce that film.

Client Challenges

Presenting a classroom addition to a public school district required a way to make a straightforward building program stand out in a competitive pursuit:

  • Making a single classroom addition feel distinctive rather than routine in front of the selection committee.

  • Showing how construction would proceed while the existing campus remained fully operational.

  • Standing out in a competitive bid for a Hillsborough County Public Schools contract.

Together, these challenges called for a film that gave the project a level of polish beyond a typical proposal.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced a film for the pursuit, presenting the new 21,000 square foot classroom addition and its role in expanding Wimauma Elementary School's capacity. The film addressed how construction would proceed alongside the school's ongoing operations, giving the selection committee a clear sense of the finished addition and its impact on the campus. By presenting the project through film rather than a written or static format, PRESWERX gave a straightforward classroom addition a level of visual polish that helped it stand out in the pursuit.

PRESWERX Approach

With a straightforward classroom addition to present, PRESWERX used film to give the project a distinctive presence in the pursuit.

  • Built the film around the addition's impact on classroom capacity and the student experience.

  • Addressed how construction would proceed without disrupting the operating campus.

  • Used film's visual format to set the pursuit apart from a typical written submission.

The result was a pursuit piece that gave a routine building program real presence.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit film built to the standard of a Hillsborough County Public Schools selection process.

  • The film gave the selection committee a clear, engaging view of the classroom addition and its impact.

  • The visual format set the pursuit apart from a typical written or static submission.

  • The finished piece addressed construction on an operating campus without disrupting the school's day to day activities.

The client's team walked into the selection process with a distinctive, polished piece to support their story.
