Project Overview

The Wilmington Health Facility represented a significant investment in outpatient healthcare infrastructure in Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington Health planned to develop a new 60,000-square-foot medical office building at one of two candidate sites, with the goal of expanding access to quality care for the region's growing patient population. The $342 million project required a construction partner capable of navigating the complexities of healthcare facility development, including site selection, clinical programming, and coordination with an active healthcare organization. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a proposal and visual package to support their pursuit of this project.

Client Challenges

Competing for a $342 million healthcare facility required the client to demonstrate not just construction capability, but a genuine understanding of the owner's vision:

  • Communicating a compelling pursuit story around a project still in early planning, with two candidate sites and an evolving program. • Helping Wilmington Health visualize the finished 60,000 SF facility before design had begun.

  • Differentiating the team with a polished, owner-focused proposal in a competitive field.

  • Building owner confidence through a pursuit package that reflected both technical strength and a clear understanding of healthcare delivery.

Standing out required a package that spoke directly to the owner's goals, not just the client's qualifications.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a comprehensive pursuit package for the Wilmington Health medical office building project. The team produced a written proposal tailored to Wilmington Health's priorities and the specific demands of a healthcare facility pursuit. High-quality renderings gave the owner a preview of what the finished 60,000-squarefoot building could look like, translating early-stage planning into a tangible vision. Animations added depth to the visual story, communicating scale, character, and design intent in a way static images alone could not. Together, the proposal and visual content gave the client's team a cohesive, persuasive package built for the selection process.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached this engagement with a focus on giving the owner something to connect with, not just the client something to submit:

  • Developed renderings that presented a compelling vision of the finished facility, grounded in the project's healthcare program and site context.

  • Produced animations that communicated the building's character and scale in a dynamic format suited for owner presentations.

  • Crafted a written proposal organized around Wilmington Health's specific goals, giving the client's team a clear and confident voice in the selection process.

Every deliverable was built to help the owner see the client as the right partner for this project.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package held to the standard of a $342 million healthcare selection:

  • Renderings gave Wilmington Health a clear, engaging preview of the proposed facility, making an early-stage project feel real and achievable.

  • Animations brought the building to life beyond static imagery, helping the client's team stand out in a competitive field.

  • A polished written proposal gave the client a structured, owner-focused narrative to carry into the selection process.

The client entered the pursuit fully equipped, with a proposal and visual package that reflected both the quality of their team and the seriousness of the opportunity.
