Project Overview
The Western Carolina University Moore Building Renovation project called for a comprehensive interior demolition down to the existing structure, including abatement, followed by a full interior renovation of the building in Cullowhee, North Carolina. The scope also included exterior envelope restoration and improvements along with upgrades to the surrounding site infrastructure. The renovation was intended to convert the existing structure into a modern classroom building for the university. Valued at $35 million, the project needed a presentation that could show the transformation of an aging building into a contemporary academic facility. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the presentation, renderings, and animations needed to support the pursuit.

Client Challenges
Presenting the transformation of an existing academic building into a modern classroom facility created a distinct challenge for the pursuit team:
Visualizing a full interior renovation before any demolition or construction began.
Communicating the scope of abatement, demolition, and rebuild within one clear narrative.
Standing out in a competitive higher education renovation pursuit.
Together, these challenges required a presentation built around visual clarity and transformation.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed the full presentation package for the Western Carolina University Moore Building Renovation pursuit. The team produced a presentation deck that addressed the scope of interior demolition and abatement, interior renovation, exterior envelope restoration, and site infrastructure upgrades. Renderings illustrated the proposed modern classroom spaces and the renovated building's exterior improvements. Animations brought the transformation to life, showing the progression from the existing structure to the finished academic facility. PRESWERX also provided presentation coaching to prepare the team's speakers for the interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the pursuit by building a presentation focused on the building's transformation from an aging facility into a modern classroom building. The team:
Produced renderings that translated the renovated interior and exterior into a clear, tangible vision.

Coached presenters to speak confidently to the scope and timeline of a comprehensive building renovation.
The result was a presentation that made a complex renovation feel approachable and well planned.
