Project Overview

Miami-Dade County undertook a significant improvements program for its water treatment plants in Hialeah, Florida, a critical piece of the region's drinking water infrastructure serving one of the nation's most densely populated urban counties. The program addressed aging facilities and evolving treatment requirements within a complex, high-demand public water system. The client, a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm, pursued the professional services contract to lead the improvements effort. To strengthen the pursuit, the client engaged PRESWERX to develop a full suite of proposal materials, visual content, and presentation coaching in support of the competitive selection process.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a major public infrastructure contract required more than technical strength: the client needed a pursuit package that could communicate complex water treatment solutions to a non-technical evaluation panel. Several challenges shaped the engagement:

  • Translating intricate treatment processes into a clear, evaluator-accessible narrative for a public-sector selection committee

  • Differentiating the team from other qualified engineering firms in a competitive procurement

  • Visualizing planned improvements to aging infrastructure before construction began

  • Preparing the team to perform with confidence in a high-stakes live interview

A fragmented submission risked burying the client's strongest qualifications.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full suite of pursuit materials tailored to the demands of a public-sector water infrastructure procurement. The team produced a comprehensive written proposal that translated the client's technical approach into a clear, evaluator-friendly narrative. Custom renderings, animations, and project films brought the planned plant improvements to life, giving the selection committee a concrete visual understanding of the proposed scope and quality of work. A polished interview presentation organized the team's story for the live selection event, and targeted presentation coaching prepared each presenter to communicate with clarity and confidence.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX took a strategy-first approach, shaping the pursuit narrative before building any deliverable. Visuals and coaching followed from that foundation.

  • Distilled the client's technical expertise into clear, evaluator-accessible pursuit language for a public-sector panel

  • Developed custom renderings, animations, and films that made the planned improvements concrete for a non-engineering audience

  • Coached presenters through repeated rehearsals to sharpen message clarity and build confidence for the live interview

The client arrived at the selection event with a unified story and a prepared team behind it.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a complete pursuit package held to the standard of a competitive public infrastructure selection. Each deliverable was purpose-built to perform under formal evaluation conditions.

  • The written proposal gave evaluators a clear, organized account of the client's technical approach and team qualifications

  • Custom renderings, animations, and films made the planned improvements tangible for a selection committee without a deep engineering background

  • Presentation coaching produced a team that delivered a confident, consistent message throughout the live interview

The client entered the selection room with polished materials and a team ready to deliver.
