Project Overview

The Holmes-Hunter Academic Building Renovation was a $21.5 million comprehensive renovation of a 50,929-square-foot historic structure at the University of Georgia in Athens. The building sits immediately adjacent to the iconic Arch on UGA's North Campus and houses student-facing functions including the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, and several academic programs. As the largest historic building on North Campus, it serves as a landmark for nearly every student at the university. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings, animations, and a coached interview presentation for the selection.

Client Challenges

The client needed to communicate their approach to a high-visibility historic renovation in a competitive live interview, backed by compelling visuals:

  • Visualizing the renovation of a landmark building in a way that honored its significance to the UGA community while conveying the scope and quality of the work.

  • Demonstrating a credible approach to renovating an active, student-facing building at the symbolic front door of a major research university.

  • Differentiating the team with a polished interview presentation supported by highquality renderings and animations.

The pursuit demanded an integrated approach across multiple deliverable types, from visual content to coached live delivery.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package for the University of Georgia's selection, combining photorealistic renderings, animations, a structured interview presentation, and coaching for the client's team. The renderings and animations captured the renovated Holmes-Hunter Academic Building in its historic North Campus context, conveying both the scope of the renovation and the quality of the finished environment. The interview presentation organized the team's qualifications and approach into a clear, evaluator-ready narrative. Coaching sessions prepared the team to deliver the material with confidence and engage UGA's evaluation panel with precision.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the engagement as an integrated pursuit challenge, building visual content and presentation materials that told a unified story.

  • Produced renderings and animations showing the renovated building in its historic North Campus context, with attention to the significance of the Archadjacent setting.

  • Structured the interview presentation around the client's approach to preserving a landmark building while serving its active, student-facing functions.

  • Coached the team to deliver with confidence and present as a group that understood what the building meant to the campus.

The result was a pursuit package that matched the prominence of the project and the standards of a major university selection.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package spanning renderings, animations, and a coached interview presentation.

  • Renderings and animations conveyed the renovation scope in compelling visual terms, capturing the quality of the finished building and its place within UGA's historic North Campus.

  • The interview presentation organized the team's qualifications into a structured narrative aligned with the university's evaluation priorities.

  • Coaching gave the team the confidence and alignment to perform at their best in a live selection.

The client entered the selection with an integrated package that reflected the significance of the project and the full capability of their team.
