Project Overview
The University of Florida Dental Science Building Addition and Renovation was a $136,000,000 construction management project for the University of Florida in Gainesville. The project combined an $80,000,000 building addition with a $56,000,000 renovation of existing dental program floor levels within the Dental Science Building, delivered using the Construction Manager At-Risk method. Three Green Globes certification by the Green Building Initiative was a mandatory project requirement. The scope of both subprojects was shaped by design approaches, funding, construction timing, and integration with other campus projects.
