Project Overview
Brevard Public Schools sought a qualified general contractor for a continuing services contract covering construction and renovation projects across its Viera, Florida district. The continuing contract model gave the district a prequalified team to assign work directly over a multi-year period, making the selection highly competitive among experienced regional contractors. The client pursued the opportunity with a complete submission package that needed to communicate deep K-12 construction experience, a clear understanding of the district's expectations, and a team prepared to serve as a long-term partner. PRESWERX supported the pursuit by developing the written proposal, building the selection presentation, and coaching the team through the interview process.

Client Challenges
The client faced a familiar challenge in public school construction procurement: standing out in a competitive field of experienced regional contractors. Three factors shaped the approach:
The continuing contract format meant evaluators would scrutinize team experience and relationship-building ability, not just price or credentials on paper.
The written proposal needed to frame the client's K-12 portfolio as a cohesive, district-relevant story rather than a list of past projects.
The selection interview required the team to speak confidently and specifically about how they would serve the district's ongoing construction and renovation needs.
Together, these pressures called for a tightly coordinated proposal and presentation strategy.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package tailored to Brevard Public Schools' evaluation criteria. The team developed a written proposal that organized the client's K-12 portfolio around the district's specific priorities, including safety protocols, on-campus coordination, and experience with occupied school renovations. PRESWERX also produced the selection presentation, structuring the content to walk evaluators through the team's qualifications in a clear, confident sequence. Presentation coaching sessions prepared the client's key personnel to speak directly to evaluator questions, anticipate the Q&A format, and present as a cohesive, prepared team on the day of the interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the pursuit as a single, integrated story rather than a set of standalone deliverables. The approach centered on connecting the client's experience to Brevard Public Schools' specific construction priorities:
District research shaped the proposal narrative and surfaced the most relevant K-12 projects in the client's portfolio, ensuring the submission spoke directly to the district's evaluation criteria.
The presentation was structured around evaluator expectations, moving through the team's qualifications in the order most likely to build confidence at each stage of the review.
Coaching sessions prepared the team to deliver with confidence and handle the Q&A without reverting to rehearsed talking points.
The team entered the selection with a consistent message across the written proposal, the presentation, and the room.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a fully coordinated submission package held to a high standard of clarity, relevance, and presentation quality. Each deliverable contributed directly to the client's readiness:
The written proposal organized the client's K-12 experience into a narrative that addressed the district's evaluation criteria and demonstrated a genuine understanding of school district construction priorities.
The selection presentation gave evaluators a clear, sequenced picture of the team's qualifications and their approach to a long-term continuing contract relationship.
Coaching sessions left the team composed, rehearsed, and ready to perform in the live interview format.
The client entered the Brevard Public Schools selection as a prepared, confident team with a polished and consistent story to tell.
