Project Overview
The Reno Fire Department Central Station was a $65 million public safety facility constructed at 455 East 2nd Street in downtown Reno, Nevada. The three-story building encompassed seven fire engine and ambulance apparatus bays, living and sleeping quarters, a recreation area, administrative offices, a training tower, and a full range of auxiliary support spaces. Site improvements included a new parking lot, right-of-way enhancements to support safe apparatus access, fuel infrastructure upgrades, utility relocation, and selective tree preservation. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a comprehensive pursuit package including proposal documents, architectural renderings, animations, a selection presentation, and hands-on coaching.

Client Challenges
The client faced the task of competing for a high-profile municipal public safety contract with a technically complex program and a panel of experienced city reviewers:
Translating a detailed, multi-floor facility program (seven apparatus bays, a training tower, and extensive support spaces) into a clear and compelling pursuit narrative
Visualizing the completed station and site improvements with enough specificity to build owner confidence before construction began
Differentiating the team in a competitive field pursuing a contract of significant civic importance
Preparing every presenter for a live selection interview where clear communication and team cohesion would be as influential as technical qualifications
Each challenge demanded a tailored response, not a generic submission

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full-service pursuit package built around the specific demands of the Reno Fire Department Central Station competition. The scope included a complete proposal document that organized the client's qualifications, project approach, and team narrative into a cohesive submission aligned with the City of Reno's evaluation priorities. PRESWERX also produced high-quality architectural renderings and animations that visualized the three-story station, apparatus bay configuration, and site improvements in detail. A custom selection presentation was developed for the interview, and the client's team participated in hands-on coaching sessions to sharpen delivery and strengthen panel engagement across all presenters.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the pursuit as an integrated engagement, aligning each deliverable to the owner's priorities and the client's competitive strengths:
Developed a proposal narrative that transformed a technically complex facility program into a clear, structured story matched to the City of Reno's evaluation criteria
Produced photorealistic renderings and animations that gave the review panel a concrete, detailed visual of the finished station, apparatus layout, and site before a single foundation was poured
Coached the client's presentation team through targeted rehearsals focused on panel engagement, message clarity, and confident delivery under interview conditions
The result was a client team that entered the selection process unified, well-prepared, and equipped to make a strong case at every stage of the evaluation.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a complete, interview-ready pursuit package held to the standard expected in a competitive public safety procurement with an experienced municipal review panel:
The proposal gave the client a structured, readable submission that clearly communicated scope understanding, team qualifications, and approach to a facility with demanding operational requirements
The renderings and animations provided the review panel with a vivid, detailed picture of the completed fire station and site before construction began, reinforcing the client's design understanding and vision
Presentation coaching ensured every team member walked into the selection interview prepared, aligned on key messages, and confident in their delivery
The client entered the selection process with a complete, polished pursuit package and a team ready to compete.
