Project Overview

The Naples Players Theater pursued a $21 million renovation of its 44,496 SF performing arts facility in Naples, Florida. The project encompassed a full renovation of the 660-seat theater along with six dressing rooms, expanded public restrooms, a 3,090 SF scene shop, and an 1,836 SF costume shop. The scope represented a significant investment in one of Naples' most established community theater institutions, requiring a contractor who could work sensitively within an active arts environment. PRESWERX supported the client's pursuit with proposal development, renderings, and animations that helped visualize the renovated facility for the owner's selection process.

Client Challenges

The client needed to compete for a high-profile arts facility renovation for a well-known community institution, with a project scope that required both technical credibility and sensitivity to the owner's identity:

  • Communicating a thorough understanding of the renovation's complexity, including theatrical infrastructure such as the scene shop, costume shop, and dressing rooms alongside the primary performance hall.

  • Helping a community arts owner visualize the quality and character of the renovated facility before construction began.

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive selection process for a culturally significant project where design quality and the patron experience were central to the owner's evaluation.

The client needed a proposal and visuals that reflected both the technical rigor and the artistic sensibility The Naples Players would expect from a contractor.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed proposal materials, renderings, and animations for the client's pursuit of The Naples Players Theater renovation. The proposal was structured to address the owner's priorities across the full scope of the renovation, from the 660-seat performance hall to the supporting technical and production spaces. Renderings visualized the renovated facility's key spaces, giving the owner a clear picture of the finished result. Animations brought the project to life with motion, capturing the scale and quality of both the patron-facing and production-side improvements. Together, the deliverables gave the client a persuasive, visually complete pursuit package tailored to a discerning arts owner.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX recognized that earning the trust of a community arts organization required more than a technically sound proposal. The pursuit materials needed to reflect a genuine understanding of what the theater meant to its patrons and performers.

  • Developed renderings that captured the character of the renovated performance hall and supporting spaces, reflecting the standard of quality The Naples Players' audience would expect.

  • Produced animations that conveyed the flow and atmosphere of the renovated facility, from the patron experience in the 660-seat theater to the production environment in the scene and costume shops.

  • Structured the proposal to address the renovation's full scope with clarity and specificity, demonstrating command of both the public-facing and behind-thescenes elements of the project.

The result was a pursuit package that communicated both competence and genuine engagement with the character of the project.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package that positioned the client with a polished proposal and compelling visual materials for the Naples Players Theater selection.

  • Renderings gave the owner a detailed view of the renovated facility's key spaces, providing the visual confidence a community arts institution would need before committing to a major construction engagement.

  • Animations conveyed the renovation's scope and atmosphere in motion, making the transformation of the theater's patron and production spaces tangible and exciting.

  • The structured proposal gave the client a clear, owner-focused narrative that addressed the full scope of the $21 million renovation with the specificity and care the project demanded.

The client entered the Naples Players selection process with a complete, professionally produced pursuit package that reflected the quality and character of one of Naples' most valued community arts institutions.
