Project Overview
Target Hunger, a Houston-based nonprofit food distribution organization, undertook a comprehensive modernization of its facility to expand capacity and improve operations. The project encompassed a warehouse expansion, second-floor office renovations, an upgraded education center, and site improvements including enhanced parking and new detention ponds. Spanning a value of $5,626,246, the work required careful phasing to keep the facility operational throughout construction. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the competitive pursuit through proposal development, presentation design, and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges
Competing for a mission-critical renovation required the client to communicate both technical capability and sensitivity to an owner that could not afford disruption to its food distribution services. Key challenges included:
Presenting a complex, multi-phase scope across warehouse, office, education, and site work as a single cohesive story
Demonstrating operational continuity planning to an owner whose community services could not be interrupted during construction
Differentiating the team in a competitive field through a compelling live presentation
Preparing spokespersons to deliver the client's story with confidence and clarity under interview conditions
Together, these challenges called for tightly coordinated pursuit support that aligned written and visual content with a polished verbal delivery.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered an integrated pursuit package built around the operational and community-service priorities of this facility renovation. On the proposal side, the team developed written content that framed the client's phased construction approach and experience with occupied-facility projects in direct alignment with the owner's requirements. The presentation design translated that narrative into a visually structured slide deck that organized a multifaceted scope, including warehouse expansion, office renovation, education center upgrades, and site improvements, into a logical, audience-ready format. Presentation coaching sessions then prepared the client's team to deliver the content with authority, respond to evaluator questions, and convey their commitment to keeping Target Hunger's food distribution mission uninterrupted throughout construction.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached this pursuit as a strategic partner, building all content around the owner's most critical concern: protecting an active nonprofit operation during a complex, multi-component renovation. Specific actions included:
Developing proposal content that highlighted the client's phased construction expertise and operational continuity methodology in direct response to the owner's sensitivities
Designing a presentation that organized a broad, multi-scope project into a clear visual narrative, emphasizing mission alignment with the nonprofit owner
Coaching the client team through targeted rehearsals, refining delivery, sharpening responses to anticipated evaluator questions, and building consistent messaging across all spokespersons
The result was a pursuit package where proposal, presentation, and presenter performance reinforced the same story from every angle.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a complete, submission-ready pursuit package held to the standard of a high-stakes nonprofit owner selection. Each deliverable was built to perform independently and reinforce the others:
• The proposal presented the client's phased construction capabilities and operational continuity planning in a cohesive, evaluator-focused narrative
• The presentation design organized a complex, multi-component scope into a clean visual story that centered the owner's mission and the client's ability to protect it
• Presentation coaching produced a team that entered the interview aligned, confident, and prepared to answer tough questions about scope management and operational disruption
The client went into selection day fully prepared, with a pursuit package that reflected the care and capability a community-serving owner deserved to see.
