Project Overview

Albright College undertook a transformational redevelopment of its central campus library, a $22 million initiative in Reading, Pennsylvania. The project converted a beloved campus landmark into a Student Success Commons, encompassing a learning commons, history center, and cultural center designed to foster academic collaboration and expanded community partnerships. Funded through Pennsylvania's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), the facility represented a major institutional investment in Albright's educational and cultural future. To support the pursuit, the client engaged PRESWERX to craft a compelling proposal and presentation package that captured the full scope and vision of the team's approach.

Client Challenges

Communicating the scope of a multi-program campus renovation to a non-technical institutional owner required a clear, unified story:

  • The $22 million project combined a learning commons, history center, and cultural center, each with its own narrative but needing to read as a single, coherent vision.

  • The library's prominent location at the heart of campus made visual communication essential, as stakeholders needed to see the finished space before construction began.

  • A competitive bid environment required materials that differentiated the team beyond credentials and conveyed genuine alignment with Albright's mission.

The client needed pursuit materials that made the project's ambition tangible and their qualifications unmistakable.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the Albright College Student Success Commons redevelopment. The engagement produced a written proposal that organized the client's qualifications and approach into a cohesive narrative tailored to Albright's goals. PRESWERX developed a presentation deck designed for live delivery before a selection committee, supported by presentation coaching that prepared the client's team to speak confidently to the project's vision. To bring the proposed facility to life, PRESWERX also produced architectural renderings and animations that visualized the learning commons, history center, and cultural center before construction began.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the pursuit as an integrated storytelling effort, aligning each deliverable to Albright College's goals for community access and cultural programming:

  • Crafted a proposal narrative that anchored the client's experience to the project's RACP context and Albright's institutional priorities.

  • Produced architectural renderings and animations that translated design intent into a compelling visual story for a non-technical audience.

  • Delivered presentation coaching that sharpened the team's live delivery and aligned their talking points to the selection criteria.

Every element worked together to present the client as the right team for a project of this scale and mission.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete, polished pursuit package calibrated to the demands of a $22 million, state-funded institutional competition:

  • The written proposal framed the client's qualifications and approach in language tailored to a non-technical institutional audience.

  • Architectural renderings and animations gave evaluators a vivid preview of the finished facility, closing the gap between construction drawings and the college's vision.

  • Presentation coaching ensured the team delivered their message with clarity and confidence in front of the selection committee.

The client entered the selection process prepared, polished, and backed by materials worthy of the project.
