Project Overview

The Albert Whitted Lift Station was a critical wastewater infrastructure project located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The project involved updating and improving a high-capacity lift station in an active urban waterfront setting, a technically complex undertaking that required clear and compelling communication to a procuring agency evaluating multiple competing teams. The client, a leading engineering and consulting firm, needed a pursuit package that could convey the depth of their technical approach and the strength of their team. PRESWERX provided end-to-end pursuit support, developing proposal content, presentation materials, renderings, animations, and coaching for the selection process.

Client Challenges

The client faced a demanding competitive selection where technical depth alone would not be sufficient: they needed to stand out in a crowded field. Key challenges included:

  • Translating a complex wastewater infrastructure scope into a clear, accessible narrative for evaluators who needed to assess technical merit quickly

  • Visualizing below-grade and mechanical systems that could not be seen in the field, requiring renderings and animations to make the proposal tangible

  • Differentiating the team's approach in a bid where multiple qualified firms were competing on similar technical qualifications

  • Preparing the team for a live interview with limited rehearsal time and high evaluator expectations

Every element of the pursuit had to work together as a unified story that built confidence in the client's team from the first page to the final interview.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package built around the specific demands of the Albert Whitted Lift Station selection. The team developed a fully written and designed proposal that structured the client's technical narrative for evaluator review. Renderings and animations brought the proposed lift station improvements to life visually, helping the selection panel understand what the finished project would look like before ground was broken. A polished interview presentation translated that same story into a live format, and dedicated coaching sessions prepared the team to deliver it with clarity, confidence, and command of the room.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this pursuit as a strategic communication challenge, not just a production assignment. The team built every deliverable around a central narrative thread that tied technical merit to real-world impact.

  • Developed unified messaging that carried consistently through the proposal, presentation, and coaching materials so evaluators encountered a coherent story at every touchpoint

  • Produced renderings and animations tuned to a technical evaluator audience, prioritizing clarity and comprehension over visual flair

  • Structured the interview presentation for maximum impact within a limited time window and coached the team through live rehearsal to build delivery confidence

The result was a pursuit package where every element reinforced the others, giving the client a coordinated and compelling case from submission through selection.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a complete, polished pursuit package ready for submission and live presentation. Every deliverable met the high standard required for a competitive infrastructure selection.

  • The proposal delivered a clear, structured narrative that communicated technical depth without overwhelming the reader, making the client's qualifications accessible to evaluators at every level

  • The renderings and animations gave evaluators a vivid, credible picture of the proposed improvements, grounding the technical proposal in a visual reality that words alone could not achieve

  • The coaching sessions prepared the team to present with poise and handle evaluator questions with confidence, turning a strong proposal into a strong room performance

The client entered the selection fully prepared, with materials and a team ready to make a strong impression.
