Project Overview
A $36,800,000 affordable housing development in Pembroke Pines, Florida brought 100 new units of supportive housing to South Florida through the Southwest Hammocks community. Developed by Carrfour Supportive Housing, the three-story, garden-style community included an on-grade parking structure, offices, resident amenities, and common areas designed to support a stable and welcoming environment. The project also incorporated approximately 5,000 square feet of dedicated community service space for Footprints to Success, a nonprofit serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop and refine a pursuit presentation, and to coach their team for the live selection interview.

Client Challenges
Pursuing an affordable supportive housing project for a mission-driven developer required the client to communicate more than construction capability:
Presenting the team's understanding of the unique operational and community needs of a supportive housing development serving adults with serious mental illness.
Organizing a multi-component program, including 100 residential units, parking, amenities, and 5,000 SF of community service space, into a clear and compelling construction narrative.
Differentiating the team for a nonprofit developer whose selection would be driven by mission alignment as much as technical qualifications.
The client needed a presentation that demonstrated both construction competence and genuine understanding of the project's community purpose.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed and refined the pursuit presentation for the Southwest Hammocks Carrfour Supportive Housing project, building a narrative that organized the client's qualifications and approach for a mission-driven affordable housing developer. PRESWERX worked with the client's team to sharpen the content and flow of the presentation, ensuring each section spoke directly to Carrfour's priorities for a supportive housing community serving a vulnerable population. Coaching sessions then prepared the client's presenters to deliver the material with confidence, clarity, and the sensitivity the project's community mission required, ensuring the team was prepared and ready for the owner's questions.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the engagement with an understanding that a supportive housing developer evaluates a contractor on mission fit as much as technical capability. The team addressed three priorities:
Structuring the narrative to reflect the client's understanding of the community and operational demands of supportive housing for adults with serious mental illness.
Refining content and flow to speak directly to a nonprofit developer's priorities for resident experience and community service integration.
Coaching presenters to deliver with the authority and sensitivity the project's human mission required.
The result was a client team prepared to connect with the owner on both a technical and mission level.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a polished pursuit presentation and coaching process tailored to the expectations of a mission-driven affordable housing procurement:
The presentation connected the client's construction qualifications to Carrfour's vision for a supportive community built around the needs of its residents.
Coaching sessions prepared each presenter to deliver with confidence, clarity, and the sensitivity appropriate to a nonprofit owner serving a vulnerable population.
The client entered the selection with a message and a presentation that accurately reflected the depth and care of their approach.
The team went into the room ready to compete on capability and mission alignment.
