Project Overview
Weston Urban set out to develop the Soap Factory, a 30-story high-rise apartment building in San Antonio, Texas, representing a $172 million investment in the city's urban residential market. The project would deliver a significant new residential tower to San Antonio's skyline, requiring a pursuit strategy capable of conveying the scale, design ambition, and development vision a project of this magnitude demands. The client engaged PRESWERX to produce a proposal, presentation, renderings, and animation, alongside coaching, to support the team's effort across every stage of the selection process.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a 30-story high-rise residential tower worth $172 million required more than standard pursuit materials. The core challenges were clear:
A building of this scale and visibility demanded visuals that conveyed height, materiality, and design quality in a way that floor plans and elevations alone cannot.
A private development owner evaluating general contractor teams holds high expectations for presentation polish and a demonstrated understanding of complex vertical construction.
The full scope of deliverables required a single pursuit partner capable of coordinating a proposal, presentation, renderings, animation, and coaching into one cohesive strategy.
These challenges called for a partner with the range to execute across every format the selection required.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package spanning five formats. A full proposal document organized the client's qualifications, approach, and project understanding into a polished submission ready for the owner's review. Architectural renderings brought the 30-story tower's exterior and key residential environments to life, giving the owner a clear picture of the design vision at scale. An animation conveyed the building's presence on the San Antonio skyline and its relationship to the surrounding urban context. A structured presentation translated these materials into a live-interview-ready story, and coaching prepared the client's team to deliver it with confidence.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the Soap Factory pursuit as a full-spectrum communications challenge, building each deliverable to reinforce the others:
The proposal established the client's credibility and project-specific understanding in writing before the visual materials took over, creating a foundation the rest of the pursuit package could build on.
Renderings and animation captured the tower's scale and design quality from both street level and distance, making a 30-story building feel real to an owner comparing competing teams.
Coaching sessions connected the written and visual materials into a single fluent story the team could deliver and defend in a live interview, ensuring nothing was left to improvisation.
Every format was built to do work the others could not, producing a pursuit strategy that matched the scale of the project.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a five-format pursuit package held to the standard of a $172 million private development selection:
The proposal gave the client a polished, project-specific submission document ready for the owner's review, setting a high bar before the visual materials were even seen.
Renderings and animation delivered high-quality visuals of the 30-story tower suited for both the printed proposal and on-screen use during the live presentation.
Coaching left the team fluent across all materials, prepared to lead the owner through the story and respond to follow-up questions without losing pace or conviction.
The client entered the selection process with the depth of preparation a project of this scale demands.
