Project Overview
The Bay Haven Building 1 Historic Renovation was an $18.1 million comprehensive renovation of Building #1 at Bay Haven School of Basics Plus in Sarasota, Florida, for the Sarasota County School Board. The project encompassed a full phased renovation of the historic structure, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades, structural remediation, window and door replacements, a new elevator, restroom upgrades, and exterior improvements. Because the school remained in active use, the project required setting up portable classrooms on site to house displaced students and staff throughout the renovation. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the proposal for the selection.
