Project Overview

Wayne County Public Schools undertook a $20 million renovation of Rosewood Middle School in Goldsboro, North Carolina, transforming the existing facility into a modern learning environment designed to serve 525 students with core capacity for 600. The project encompassed approximately 78,974 square feet and required close coordination between the Construction Manager at Risk and the project architect. To compete for the construction management role, the client needed materials that could communicate the full scope and quality of the project to school district decision-makers. PRESWERX provided presentation development, presentation coaching, high-quality renderings, and animations to support the pursuit.

Client Challenges

Competing for a school renovation requires more than a strong technical approach. The client needed to make a complex, large-scale project tangible and compelling to a non-construction audience:

  • Communicating the scope of a 78,974 SF renovation as a single, coherent story that resonated with school board stakeholders

  • Visualizing finished design quality before any construction began, giving the owner confidence in the team's vision

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive selection through polished, professional pursuit materials

  • Preparing the team to deliver a confident, well-rehearsed live interview performance

Together, these challenges called for a pursuit partner who could translate technical work into a compelling owner-facing story.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full suite of pursuit materials tailored to the Rosewood Middle School project. The team produced a structured presentation built around the project's educational program and renovation scope, organizing the client's story in a way that connected directly to Wayne County Public Schools' priorities. PRESWERX created architectural renderings that brought the renovated facility to life visually, giving the owner a clear picture of the finished environment before a single wall was touched. Animated sequences conveyed spatial relationships and project phasing in a format accessible to a non-technical audience. Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to deliver the content with precision and confidence during the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the Rosewood pursuit as a strategic communications challenge. The goal was to close the gap between the client's technical capabilities and the owner's ability to evaluate them:

  • Built a presentation narrative structured around the school's educational goals and the renovation's impact on students and staff, not just construction milestones

  • Produced renderings and animations calibrated to the project's scale and program, giving the owner a vivid and accurate sense of the completed facility

  • Coached the client's team through multiple presentation rehearsals, sharpening delivery and tightening responses to anticipated owner questions

The result was a cohesive pursuit package that gave the client a clear voice and a professional presence in the selection process.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete, interview-ready pursuit package held to a high standard of visual quality and strategic clarity:

  • A structured, fully designed presentation that organized the client's scope and qualifications into a clear, owner-facing narrative aligned with the project's educational mission

  • Architectural renderings and animations that made the 78,974 SF renovation tangible and visually compelling for a non-technical selection committee

  • Presentation coaching that brought the client's team to a confident, rehearsed level of delivery ahead of the live interview

The client entered the selection process prepared, polished, and positioned to make a strong impression on Wayne County Public Schools.
