Project Overview
Jack Link's undertook the design and construction of a new greenfield meat processing plant in Perry, Georgia, with a total project value of $450,000,000. Known internally as Project Birdcage, the facility encompassed approximately 628,409 square feet of precast construction on an undeveloped 111-acre site, including production areas, coolers, freezers, storage, office, welfare spaces, loading docks, and engine and boiler rooms. At full Phase I and Phase II buildout, the plant was designed to produce 1.59 million pounds of product per week. The client pursued the design-build construction contract and engaged PRESWERX to develop a competitive pursuit package. PRESWERX delivered renderings, animations, a selection presentation, and presentation coaching to support the bid.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a $450,000,000 greenfield food processing facility required the client to communicate command of one of the most technically demanding construction types in the industrial sector, to an owner whose production targets left no room for uncertainty:
Conveying the scale and functional complexity of a 628,409 SF processing plant, including cold storage, production, utility, and support systems, as a coherent and executable construction vision.
Helping Jack Link's visualize the finished facility on an undeveloped 111-acre site before a single foundation was poured, across a phased buildout designed to hit a precise weekly production target.
Differentiating the client's team in a high-stakes pursuit where the owner's investment and production commitments demanded a construction partner with clear expertise and zero ambiguity.
The pursuit package had to match the ambition of the project and demonstrate the client's readiness to execute at a scale few construction teams have the capability to manage.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced a full visual and presentation pursuit package for the client's Project Birdcage bid. Renderings captured the exterior of the precast facility and key interior environments, communicating the scale of the production floor, cold storage areas, and support infrastructure across the 111-acre Perry, Georgia site. Animations illustrated the facility's layout and phasing logic, helping Jack Link's understand how Phase I and Phase II production buildout would unfold and how future-planned structures, including an Automated Storage and Retrieval Building, warehouse, and additional production space, would integrate into the master plan. PRESWERX also developed the client's selection presentation and provided coaching to prepare the team for a high-stakes owner interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached Project Birdcage with the understanding that a food processing plant pursuit operates at the intersection of industrial construction, food safety, and long-range production planning. Every deliverable was built to reflect that complexity and the owner's investment at stake.
Developed renderings and animations that communicated the facility's production and utility systems, phased buildout, and master-planned site in terms a food manufacturing owner could immediately evaluate.
Structured the presentation narrative to lead with the client's industrial and food processing construction capability, then connect it directly to Jack Link's production goals and timeline.
Coached the client's team to present the phased buildout plan and production ramp-up logic with precision and confidence, preparing them for detailed technical questions from a demanding owner.
The result was a pursuit package that positioned the client as a construction partner fully equipped to deliver one of the most complex greenfield industrial projects in the region.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package for a $450,000,000 greenfield food processing facility, produced at the standard of a client competing for one of the largest industrial construction opportunities in Georgia's recent history.
Renderings and animations gave Jack Link's a detailed, site-accurate preview of the finished facility across production, cold storage, utility, and support environments.
The structured presentation gave the client's team a clear, confident narrative that connected their construction capability directly to the owner's phased production goals.
Presentation coaching left the team fully prepared to walk into a high-stakes owner interview and answer detailed questions about the plant's technical scope and delivery approach.
The client entered the selection with a professional, complete pursuit package that demonstrated the depth and readiness required to compete for a project of this scale and complexity.
