Project Overview
The Platte Valley Middle School project was a $68.2 million K-12 construction initiative in Kersey, Colorado, commissioned by the Platte Valley Weld RE-07 School District. The project encompassed two new ground-up buildings: a 125,000 SF middle school and a 10,000 SF Central Office Building, along with extensive site work. The dualbuilding program on a single campus required a construction team with the experience and organizational capacity to manage a complex, multi-structure K-12 project from the ground up. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the pursuit with a presentation, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations.
Client Challenges
The client was pursuing a significant K-12 ground-up campus for a Colorado school district, competing for a project that combined a new middle school with a district central office on the same site. The pursuit carried several challenges:
Communicating a clear approach to delivering two distinct new buildings on a single campus to a school district owner managing limited administrative capacity.
Visualizing a new 125,000 SF middle school and a separate Central Office Building before design was finalized, giving the district a compelling picture of both structures.
Differentiating the construction team in a competitive selection that combined the complexity of a large K-12 campus with district-level administrative requirements.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX built the selection presentation and provided coaching to prepare the client's team for the Platte Valley Weld RE-07 interview. Renderings visualized both new structures, the 125,000 SF middle school and the 10,000 SF Central Office Building, giving the school district a clear and compelling picture of the finished campus. Animations brought the site layout and construction approach to life, demonstrating how the two buildings and the extensive site work would come together as a cohesive campus. Coaching prepared the team's speakers to present the full scope clearly and credibly in front of the district's selection panel.
