Project Overview

The City of Pinellas Park issued a Design/Build procurement to deliver a new police station and renovation of the existing facility on the Public Safety Campus at 7700 59th Street North. The $23,750,000 project required a single team to manage design, construction, renovation, and all necessary permitting for the combined campus scope. A prequalification process filtered the competitive field before final selection, raising the stakes for each team's submittal and presentation. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a presentation, provide coaching, and produce renderings and animations in support of the pursuit.

Client Challenges

The client faced a prequalified Design/Build competition where visual quality and presentation performance were as important as technical credentials:

  • The dual-scope project, combining new construction with renovation of the existing station, required a visual narrative that communicated both efforts as one unified campus vision.

  • A Design/Build delivery model required the team to demonstrate design quality before construction began, making compelling renderings essential to the submittal.

  • Competing in a prequalified field meant every shortlisted team arrived credentialed, and standing out required a polished presentation backed by strong visuals.

Together, these factors demanded a pursuit package that could communicate design intent clearly and deliver it with confidence in front of a live panel.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced renderings and animations that brought the Pinellas Park Public Safety Campus to life before a single shovel hit the ground. The renderings depicted the new police station and the renovated existing facility in context, giving evaluators a concrete sense of the design quality and campus cohesion the team was proposing. Animations added motion to the story, helping the selection panel visualize how the completed campus would function and feel. PRESWERX also developed a full presentation structure and provided coaching to prepare the client's team to deliver it with clarity and composure before the City.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this as a dual-challenge engagement: make the design vision unmistakable in the visuals, and make the team unmistakable in the room.

  • Developed renderings and animations that presented the new and renovated facilities as a single, cohesive public safety campus.

  • Built a structured presentation that framed the team's Design/Build approach and guided evaluators through the project scope and design intent.

  • Provided presentation coaching that sharpened the team's delivery and built the consistency needed to perform under live selection conditions.

Every deliverable was calibrated to reinforce the same message: a capable, prepared team with a clear and compelling vision for the campus.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete visual and presentation package that gave the client a competitive edge in a prequalified Design/Build field.

  • Renderings and animations depicted the completed Public Safety Campus with the design clarity and cohesion needed to stand out in a shortlisted field.

  • The developed presentation gave the team a polished, structured narrative ready for the City's selection panel.

  • Presentation coaching ensured the team arrived rehearsed, confident, and prepared to answer questions under live evaluation pressure.

The client entered the City's selection process with a fully prepared package and a team ready to present with clarity and conviction.
