Project Overview
The Palms at Brushy Creek Phase II was a commercial retail development in the Greer, South Carolina market, building on the success of an established strip center anchored by local dining, fitness, and service tenants. The Phase II expansion continued the project's environmentally conscious character, with community-oriented amenities and a complementary mix of uses designed to serve the surrounding neighborhood. To pursue the construction contract for this community-focused development, the client engaged PRESWERX for a comprehensive suite of pursuit services, including proposal development, presentation design, presentation coaching, renderings, animations, and film production.

Client Challenges
The client faced a competitive pursuit for a project with strong community identity and an established Phase I to build upon. Key challenges included:
Communicating how their team would maintain the design vision and community character established in Phase I, without relying on the owner to fill in the gaps
Differentiating their construction approach in a competitive bid environment where technical qualifications alone would not be enough
Visualizing the finished Phase II product before construction began, to help reviewers connect with the project's identity
Preparing a polished presentation that could hold up under the scrutiny of a live selection interview
Each challenge required the client to tell a clear, confident story under direct evaluation.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package tailored to the Palms at Brushy Creek Phase II opportunity. The team produced a proposal that framed the client's construction approach within the project's established identity and neighborhood context. Renderings and animations brought the Phase II design to life, giving reviewers a vivid picture of the finished environment before construction began. A production-quality film conveyed the client's commitment to the community and the project's unique character. PRESWERX also designed the presentation materials and provided hands-on coaching to prepare the client's team for the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the Phase II pursuit as a continuation of an established story, connecting the client's credentials to the specific character and community promise of the development.
Proposal content was crafted to tie the client's construction capabilities directly to the project's environmental and community-focused design intent, giving reviewers a reason to trust the fit
Renderings, animations, and film bridged the gap between design documents and a vivid, experiential vision of the finished development
Coaching sessions prepared the client's presenters to deliver their message with confidence and specificity in front of the selection panel, with each team member clear on their role
The result was a pursuit package that positioned the client as a builder who understood the project's identity, not just its scope.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package held to the same visual and narrative standard as the project's community-forward identity.
The proposal gave reviewers a clear, compelling picture of the client's qualifications in the context of the Palms brand and design vision, establishing fit before the interview began
Renderings, animations, and film made the Phase II concept tangible for selection committee members who would not see a finished building before making their decision
Presentation coaching sharpened each presenter's delivery and gave the full team a shared, well-rehearsed narrative for the live interview
The client arrived at selection fully prepared, with materials that reflected the quality and care the project demanded.
