Project Overview
Orange County undertook a major expansion of the North/South Building at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, adding approximately 600,000 square feet of buildout improvements to Phase V of the facility. The program concentrated on the building's west side and centered on a grand concourse improvement encompassing 60,000 square feet of meeting room space and a flexible 80,000-squarefoot ballroom, alongside restrooms, service corridors, back-of-house functions, and utility spaces. Public improvements to the surrounding streetscape and utilities relocation rounded out the scope. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the visual content needed to pursue this landmark civic project.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a large-scale public convention center expansion meant the client had to convey both the scale and quality of a project that would serve millions of visitors. The core challenges were clear:
A 600,000-square-foot program with multiple distinct venue types required visuals that communicated each component's purpose and grandeur without fragmenting the overall story.
A competitive public procurement process demanded differentiation on design vision and team capability, not just construction credentials.
Film-quality content was needed to bring the future convention experience to life for a government owner evaluating proposals against a high civic standard.
Together, these challenges required a pursuit partner capable of delivering cinematiclevel visualization and a cohesive narrative for one of Florida's most visible public venues.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive set of pursuit visuals across three formats. Architectural renderings captured the grand concourse, ballroom, and meeting room environments in detail, giving reviewers a clear picture of the finished interior experience at convention scale. Animations traced the spatial sequence through the expanded facility, illustrating how the 600,000-square-foot addition would function as a destination in its own right. A film production brought together the project's narrative arc, program highlights, and design ambition in a polished format suited to high-profile public presentation. Each deliverable was calibrated to the expectations of a government owner evaluating a generational civic investment.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX structured the engagement around one central challenge: making a massive, technically complex expansion feel both coherent and compelling to a public owner reviewing competing proposals:
Renderings focused on the spaces where visitors would experience the building, particularly the ballroom and grand concourse, prioritizing atmosphere and scale over technical construction detail.
Animations guided reviewers through the spatial sequence of the expansion, making the layout legible and the program relationships clear without relying on construction documents.
Film production elevated the presentation beyond standard pursuit materials, positioning the client as a team that understood the project's civic significance, not just its square footage.
Every format was chosen to close the gap between a government owner's expectations and what traditional pursuit materials typically deliver.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a multi-format visualization suite held to the standard of a highprofile public sector selection:
Renderings delivered program-accurate ballroom, concourse, and meeting room environments ready for both submission documents and live presentation use, giving reviewers a vivid sense of the spaces before construction began.
Animations made the 600,000-square-foot addition spatially navigable for a nontechnical government review panel, clarifying how the program components connected and flowed.
Film production elevated the client's materials beyond standard pursuit tools, matching the civic scale of a project designed to serve millions of visitors for decades to come.
The client entered the selection process with a visual package that reflected the project's significance to Orlando and to Orange County.
