Project Overview
The One Water South Wastewater Conveyance and Treatment Project brought a new Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility to Lithia, Florida, built to serve Hillsborough County with an initial capacity of 24 million gallons per day. The plant was engineered to expand to 30 million gallons per day in the future with minimal disruption, positioning it to meet the region's wastewater needs through at least 2050. As a billion dollar scale infrastructure investment, the project required visual materials capable of conveying both its immediate function and its long term capacity. For the pursuit, the client engaged PRESWERX to develop the presentation materials needed to convey the facility's scope and design.
Client Challenges
Presenting a billion dollar regional wastewater facility built for decades of future growth required addressing several hurdles:
Communicating both the plant's initial 24 MGD capacity and its planned expansion to 30 MGD as one long term vision.
Visualizing a large scale treatment facility and its role in the region's infrastructure before construction began.
Preparing the team for a live selection presentation to county stakeholders.
Together, these challenges called for presentation materials that made a complex, long horizon infrastructure investment easy to understand.
Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed the presentation, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations used to support the pursuit of the One Water South Wastewater Conveyance and Treatment Project. Renderings and animations translated the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility's design, initial capacity, and future expansion path into visuals the selection committee could evaluate ahead of construction. The visuals conveyed how the plant would serve Hillsborough County's wastewater needs through at least 2050. Presentation coaching prepared the team's speakers to walk the selection committee through the facility's scope and long term planning with confidence.
