Project Overview
Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital's Master Campus Plan Phase 3.1 represented one of the most complex healthcare expansion efforts on the Northwestern Medicine campus. The $250,000,000 project added two new four-story pavilions totaling 290,000 square feet, housing 96 new inpatient beds, 23 intensive care unit beds, laboratories, and a new hospital kitchen, while simultaneously renovating 45,000 square feet of the existing facility to expand and relocate the emergency department and enhance diagnostic imaging and inpatient rehabilitation capabilities. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a presentation and provide coaching in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where a dense, multi-program scope had to read clearly to a sophisticated healthcare owner:
Two pavilions plus a major renovation across multiple clinical programs required tight presentation structure to hold together as one story.
A $250M healthcare pursuit with Northwestern Medicine demanded a presentation that conveyed clinical understanding alongside construction capability.
A competitive contractor field made presentation quality and team delivery differentiators in their own right.
All three pointed to the same need: a structured, rehearsed presentation the team could deliver with confidence.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a comprehensive presentation and provided coaching to prepare the client's team for the Northwestern Medicine pursuit. The presentation was structured to walk evaluators through the full scope of Phase 3.1, from the two new clinical pavilions and their combined 119 beds and laboratory program to the emergency department expansion and inpatient rehabilitation renovation within the existing hospital. The structure was built to make a complex, layered healthcare program legible and compelling to a sophisticated owner. PRESWERX then worked directly with the team through coaching sessions, preparing them to deliver with clarity, confidence, and clinical command.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX focused on two parallel challenges: making a complex clinical scope navigable and preparing the team to perform with confidence.
Built a presentation structure that organized the multi-program scope into a clear narrative evaluators could follow.
Developed content that tied the clinical program, construction approach, and team credentials into one cohesive story.
Provided coaching that sharpened individual delivery and built team consistency for the live selection environment.
The result was a team that arrived prepared to present the full depth of their approach with clarity and confidence.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a structured presentation and coaching program that prepared the client to compete at the level a $250M healthcare pursuit demands.
The presentation organized a dense, multi-program scope into a clear, evaluatorfriendly narrative.
Coaching built the individual delivery and team consistency needed to perform under major-owner evaluation pressure.
The client entered the selection with a polished presentation and a team prepared to answer questions with clinical authority.
The team walked in ready: structured, rehearsed, and confident in front of one of the region's most demanding healthcare owners.
