Project Overview

A $21,000,000 new passenger terminal at Northern Colorado Regional Airport in Loveland, Colorado gave the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins a purpose-built facility designed to accommodate anticipated growth in regional air travel. The approximately 26,600-square-foot terminal included two ground-loaded gates, TSA security functions, inbound and outbound baggage handling, shell space for future concessions, rental car counters, and capacity to serve one to two airline carriers. The project represented a significant investment in the region's aviation infrastructure and commercial air service capabilities. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a proposal, presentation, renderings, animations, and coaching for the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a new regional airport terminal required the client to communicate both technical capability and a clear vision for a facility that would define the gateway to Northern Colorado for years to come:

  • Visualizing a 26,600 SF terminal building, including gates, security, baggage handling, and future concession spaces, before construction began.

  • Developing a proposal and presentation that spoke to the priorities of a dual-city public owner with a long-term investment in growing regional air service.

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive aviation procurement for a high-visibility community infrastructure project.

The client needed a full pursuit package that matched the ambition of a region ready to grow its air travel capacity.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full pursuit package for the Northern Colorado Regional Airport terminal project, producing a proposal, presentation, renderings, animations, and coaching. Renderings brought the new 26,600-square-foot terminal to life, capturing the building's exterior character and the passenger experience within, from TSA security through the gate areas. Animations conveyed the flow and functionality of the completed terminal, including baggage handling, gate operations, and future concession spaces. PRESWERX also developed the pursuit proposal and built and refined a presentation that organized the full scope into a compelling narrative. Coaching sessions prepared the client's team for the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX built a pursuit package that communicated both the functional precision and the community significance of a new regional gateway. The team addressed three priorities:

  • Producing renderings and animations that captured the terminal's passenger experience and functional layout from curbside through gate.

  • Developing a proposal and presentation that spoke to the dual-city owner's investment in growing regional air service capacity.

  • Coaching the client's team to present with authority and clarity in front of a community-focused aviation authority.

The result was a complete pursuit package that positioned the client as prepared to deliver a terminal the region could be proud of.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package covering every stage of the Northern Colorado Regional Airport terminal competition:

  • Renderings and animations gave the joint city owners a vivid picture of the new terminal's character, passenger flow, and functional layout before construction began.

  • The proposal and presentation organized the full scope and the client's approach into a clear, compelling narrative for a community-invested aviation owner.

  • Coaching sessions prepared the client's team to deliver with confidence and precision in the live selection interview.

The client entered the selection fully prepared, with materials that accurately reflected the quality and vision of their approach.
