Project Overview

Marion County Schools undertook the construction of a new Technology and Information Services Center in Ocala, Florida, designed to centralize the district's technology operations and IT infrastructure under one purpose-built facility. The project required a specialized building to house district-wide technology support, data management, and equipment distribution functions. The client, a leading Florida-based contractor, pursued this competitive school district opportunity and engaged PRESWERX to support the full pursuit effort, providing proposal development, photorealistic renderings, animations, and presentation coaching services.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a school district technology center contract required more than construction experience. The client needed a pursuit package that could communicate a complex, specialized scope to a broad evaluator panel:

  • Translating a specialized IT infrastructure program into a narrative accessible to non-technical district administrators and school board members

  • Providing compelling visuals of a new, purpose-built facility before any construction had begun, giving evaluators confidence in the design intent

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive procurement for a high-visibility public education project

  • Preparing the team for a live selection interview where clarity and confidence would carry as much weight as technical qualifications

Every element of the submission had to reinforce the client's readiness and commitment to the district.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX supported the client's pursuit from proposal through interview. The team developed a polished proposal document structured around Marion County Schools' evaluation criteria, weaving the client's qualifications and project approach into a cohesive narrative. Photorealistic renderings brought the planned facility to life, giving evaluators a tangible sense of the finished building before ground was broken. Animated visualizations added depth and motion to the presentation, reinforcing the quality of the proposed design. PRESWERX also led presentation coaching sessions, preparing the client's team to deliver a confident, well-paced performance on selection day.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the pursuit as a fully integrated partner, aligning each deliverable to the district's priorities and evaluation criteria:

  • Developed proposal content that tied the client's qualifications directly to Marion County Schools' technology infrastructure goals and district-specific requirements

  • Produced renderings and animations that conveyed the facility's design quality and functional clarity for evaluators unfamiliar with construction documents

  • Coached the presentation team through focused rehearsals designed to sharpen delivery, align messaging, and anticipate evaluator questions

The client entered the selection process as a cohesive, well-prepared team with a submission that reflected their full capabilities.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to the quality standard expected for a competitive school district procurement:

  • A structured proposal document that communicated the client's scope, experience, and project approach in clear, evaluator-friendly language

  • Photorealistic renderings and animations that brought the planned facility to life and gave evaluators a confident picture of the finished project

  • Targeted presentation coaching that gave the team the preparation and composure needed for a high-stakes selection interview

The client took the stage with a cohesive story, strong visuals, and a team fully prepared to make their best case.
