Project Overview

Collier County Public Schools planned the first new elementary school in the district in nearly two decades, sited on a 22-acre parcel at the intersection of Immokalee and Moulder roads in eastern Collier County. The school was designed to accommodate 919 students and address severe overcrowding at two existing campuses that had each grown well beyond their permanent capacities. With a competitive procurement process underway, the client engaged PRESWERX to develop a full pursuit package, including renderings, animations, a written proposal, and a polished presentation that would communicate the team's capabilities and the school's design quality to the selection committee.

Client Challenges

The client needed to make a strong first impression on a procurement committee that rarely built new schools. Several specific challenges shaped the pursuit:

  • Translating a 919-student, 22-acre campus program into a clear, committee-ready narrative that non-technical reviewers could readily evaluate

  • Visualizing design quality and site organization before a single shovel hit the ground, so the selection panel could assess the finished school

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive field of experienced education-sector contractors

  • Preparing for a live selection interview that would test both the team's technical depth and its ability to deliver a confident, unified message under pressure

Each challenge demanded a pursuit strategy that balanced technical credibility with visual impact.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a comprehensive pursuit package for the project. The written proposal organized the client's qualifications, approach, and project understanding into a structured narrative built for a school board evaluation process. Architectural renderings illustrated the school's exterior character and site placement, giving the committee a concrete image of what the finished facility would look like. Animations brought key spaces to life, conveying scale and program flow in ways that static images could not. PRESWERX also developed the full interview presentation and provided coaching to prepare the team for the live selection event.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this pursuit as a storytelling challenge rooted in community need. The district's documented overcrowding crisis was compelling on its own, and the team built the narrative around it:

  • Anchored the proposal in the district's enrollment crisis to establish urgency and relevance from the first page

  • Produced renderings and animations that tied the school's program to its site context, reinforcing the client's design vision with images the committee could immediately understand

  • Structured the presentation and coached the team to deliver a confident, unified message tailored to the interview format and committee expectations

The result was a pursuit package that positioned the client as the team best prepared to serve this community.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a fully integrated pursuit package held to the standard that a high-profile public school procurement demands. The deliverables gave the client a measurable edge at every stage of the selection process:

  • A written proposal that organized the client's qualifications and project understanding into a compelling, board-ready narrative built around the district's need

  • Renderings and animations that clearly communicated design intent and site character, giving the committee a vivid picture of the finished school before construction began

  • A polished interview presentation paired with targeted coaching that sharpened the team's delivery and strengthened their confidence going into the room

The client entered the selection process with a pursuit package that reflected both the gravity of the project and the strength of the team behind it.
