Project Overview
The $25,000,000 Mullins Library Renovation Floor 1 and 2 delivered the second phase of a comprehensive modernization effort at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Phase II completely renewed and modernized Levels 1 and 2 of Mullins Library, transforming the university's central academic resource into a contemporary space aligned with evolving research and study needs. The project required careful coordination of collections and furnishings ahead of construction to maintain library operations through the transition. The client engaged PRESWERX to produce custom renderings and animations supporting the pursuit effort.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a $25,000,000 academic library renovation on an active university campus required the client to communicate a complex, phased transformation to a higher education owner with high expectations for the result:
Conveying the scope and character of a full modernization of two library floors in a way that helped the university community and evaluation team visualize the finished environment.
Supporting a procurement process on an active campus where library operations continued through the preparation and transition period.
Demonstrating the design vision and construction capability for a high-profile renovation within a historic academic building central to campus life.
The client needed visual assets that made the future library real before construction began.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced custom renderings and animations for the Mullins Library Renovation Floor 1 and 2 pursuit, creating visual assets that brought the Phase II modernization to life for the University of Arkansas. The renderings translated architectural plans for the renewed Levels 1 and 2 into high-quality visuals that communicated the quality and character of the finished spaces. Animations further articulated the transformation, giving the university's evaluation team a dynamic view of how the renovation would reimagine the library's most visible and active floors.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX focused on producing visual assets that could carry the weight of a major academic library renovation in the absence of built precedent on the specific spaces. The team addressed three priorities:
Developing renderings that communicated the design intent for Levels 1 and 2 with enough detail to convey material quality, spatial character, and the shift from existing conditions.
Creating animations that gave the owner a dynamic sense of how people would move through and use the modernized floors.
Aligning all visuals to the University of Arkansas's expectations for a flagship academic facility.
The result was a visual package that made Phase II legible before construction began.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete set of renderings and animations built for the demands of an academic library pursuit:
High-quality renderings visualized the modernized Levels 1 and 2 with the fidelity needed to convey design intent to a university evaluation panel.
Animations provided a dynamic, immersive view of the transformed library floors, helping the owner understand the spatial experience the renovation would create.
The visual package gave the client a persuasive, professional set of assets that communicated the full ambition of the Phase II modernization.
The client brought materials to the table that made the renovation vision concrete.
