Project Overview
The Mercy South Emergency Department was a significant healthcare facility project in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. The client pursued the opportunity for a major regional health system, seeking to deliver a new or expanded emergency department serving a high-volume patient population in south St. Louis County. The project demanded a pursuit package that conveyed the team's technical capabilities and deep healthcare construction experience to a sophisticated selection committee. PRESWERX supported the full engagement, providing proposal development, presentation design, presentation coaching, high-quality renderings, and custom animations.

Client Challenges
Competing for a major hospital construction project requires more than strong qualifications. Every component of the pursuit package had to work together to tell a unified, persuasive story. The client faced several interconnected challenges:
Communicating a complex healthcare construction scope as one cohesive narrative for a review committee that included both clinical and non-technical decision-makers
Differentiating a capable team in a competitive selection process for a high-profile regional facility
Visualizing design quality and spatial experience before any construction had begun
Preparing the team to deliver a polished, confident live interview performance under real selection conditions
Each challenge pointed to the same underlying need: a pursuit partner who could bring strategy, visuals, and preparation together as an integrated effort.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive suite of pursuit materials tailored to the demands of the Mercy South Emergency Department selection. The team produced a fully designed proposal document that framed the client's qualifications and project approach in a clear, persuasive narrative. Purpose-built presentation graphics and layout carried that story into the live interview format. Custom renderings brought the proposed facility to life visually, giving the selection committee a concrete sense of design quality and spatial character. Animations further illustrated phasing, workflow, and construction sequencing in ways that static images could not convey. Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to deliver the material with clarity and confidence.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the Mercy South pursuit as a fully integrated engagement, treating strategy, design, and preparation as inseparable disciplines. Rather than producing materials in isolation, the team built each deliverable to reinforce the others and advance a single client narrative:
Developed a proposal document that positioned the client's healthcare expertise and project-specific approach as direct responses to the owner's stated priorities, ensuring the narrative was both accurate and strategically targeted
Produced renderings and animations that translated design intent into visual proof of quality, supporting the written narrative with imagery the committee could evaluate independently
Coached the client's presentation team through live preparation sessions, sharpening delivery and aligning verbal messaging with the visual materials
The result was a pursuit package where every element reinforced the same story, giving the client's team a coherent and confident foundation going into the selection.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to the standards of a high-stakes healthcare selection. Each deliverable was developed to meet the specific expectations of a sophisticated evaluation committee:
The proposal communicated the client's technical depth and project approach in a format designed for clarity and impact, giving reviewers a coherent picture of the team's qualifications from the first page
The renderings and animations provided compelling visual evidence of design quality, helping the committee engage with spatial and programmatic decisions before construction
Presentation coaching gave the client's team the preparation and repetition needed to walk into the interview with a practiced, polished delivery
The client entered the selection process with a strong, fully prepared pursuit package and the confidence that comes from thorough, professional preparation.
