Project Overview

The client pursued a $19.5 million contract to deliver a new athletic and community center for Lowell Community Charter Public School in Lowell, Massachusetts. The facility was designed to serve the school community with dedicated athletic programming spaces and shared community amenities, representing a meaningful investment in access to recreation and education for the Lowell area. Competing in a formal selection process, the client needed a pursuit package that clearly communicated the scope, quality, and community impact of the project. PRESWERX supported the engagement with a full suite of proposal, presentation, visual storytelling, and coaching services.

Client Challenges

Winning a $19.5 million community facility project required the client to do more than present qualifications. The team needed to tell a compelling story about place, purpose, and people:

  • Communicating the full scope and community value of a new athletic and community center to a selection panel that included both technical evaluators and community stakeholders.

  • Visualizing a facility that did not yet exist, so that the owner could see and feel the quality of the finished product before a single wall went up.

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive field where multiple qualified contractors were vying for the same project.

  • Preparing the client's pursuit team to deliver a live interview with confidence, clarity, and a consistent message.

Each challenge called for a strategy that combined visual impact with a sharp, rehearsed narrative.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced a comprehensive pursuit package tailored to the demands of this community facility competition. The engagement began with a written proposal designed to frame the client's qualifications and approach in language that resonated with both technical reviewers and community stakeholders. From there, the team developed a full presentation deck structured around the client's key differentiators and the owner's priorities for the project. Photorealistic renderings and animations brought the athletic and community center to life before construction, giving the selection panel a vivid, credible picture of the finished facility. A project film tied the visual narrative together. Presentation coaching ensured the client's team was prepared, polished, and ready for the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this pursuit as a storytelling challenge as much as a production one. The goal was to help the client speak to the owner's vision for the school and the community, not just to their own credentials:

  • Framed the proposal around the community impact of the facility, connecting the client's construction approach to outcomes that mattered to the owner and the school.

  • Produced renderings and animations that visualized the athletic and community spaces at a level of detail and warmth that made the design feel real and ready.

  • Coached the pursuit team through the presentation structure and live delivery, focusing on message discipline and confident responses to anticipated questions.

The result was a pursuit package where every element, written, visual, and spoken, told the same cohesive story.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete, competition-ready pursuit package held to the standard of a project with genuine community visibility and a competitive selection process:

  • A written proposal and presentation deck that communicated the client's qualifications and approach with clarity and strategic focus, tailored to both technical and non-technical reviewers.

  • Photorealistic renderings, animations, and a project film that gave the selection panel a compelling visual experience of the finished facility before construction began.

  • Presentation coaching that prepared the client's team to deliver a polished, confident live interview with a clear and consistent message.

The client entered the selection process with a pursuit package that reflected the quality of their work and the depth of their commitment to the project.
