Project Overview
Low Tide Brewery was a $12 million project to design and build a purpose-built craft brewery and dining destination on Johns Island, South Carolina. The facility encompassed a full brewing and packaging operation, a full-service restaurant, and open-air community event spaces designed to reflect the coastal identity of the Low Tide brand. The project was conceived as a grain-to-glass experience: a place where guests toured the brew space, gathered around a meal, and stayed for community events ranging from farmers markets to guided tours. Mashburn Construction engaged PRESWERX to develop the pursuit proposal package for this project.

Client Challenges
Winning a hospitality-driven brewery project required more than a standard construction proposal. The client needed materials that made the Low Tide vision tangible before a single wall went up:
Communicating a multi-program facility spanning brewing, dining, and community events as a single, cohesive story
Connecting the coastal brand identity to the built environment in a way that resonated with a design-conscious owner
Differentiating the client's team in a competitive pursuit for an owner with a strong and specific sense of place
Taken together, these challenges called for proposal materials built entirely around the owner's vision, not just the contractor's capabilities.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed the full proposal package for the client's pursuit of the Low Tide Brewery project. Work included a project narrative that wove together the brewery's grain-to-glass mission, coastal brand identity, and community programming goals into a cohesive story tailored to the owner's priorities. PRESWERX produced pursuit graphics and layout boards that communicated the scale and character of the facility across its brewing, dining, and event-use components. The team structured the overall submission to address the owner's evaluation criteria directly, positioning the client's approach as one that understood the spirit of the Low Tide brand as clearly as its technical requirements.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX grounded every deliverable in the owner's stated vision: a place that celebrates local community, coastal lifestyle, and craft beer at a grain-to-glass level. Rather than producing a generic construction proposal, the team built materials that spoke the owner's language.
Studied the Low Tide brand identity and community programming goals to frame the narrative around the owner's values, not just the project's technical scope
Developed pursuit graphics that translated the brewery, restaurant, and event spaces into a unified project story the owner could see and feel
Structured the submission to mirror the owner's priorities, organizing content so evaluators found what they needed without digging
The result was a proposal package the client could present with confidence and clarity.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete proposal package aligned to both the technical scope and the brand-driven vision behind the Low Tide Brewery project. Every deliverable was held to the standard of the owner's stated goals.
The project narrative gave the client a clear, compelling story connecting grain-to-glass brewing philosophy with coastal community identity
Pursuit graphics communicated the scale and character of the multi-program facility across brewing, dining, and event uses in a format the owner could engage with immediately
The structured submission positioned the client's team as one that understood what the owner was truly building, not just what it would cost
The client entered the selection process with materials that matched the ambition and identity of the Low Tide project.
