Project Overview
The Lakewood Ranch Boulevard project was a $16.5 million roadway improvement initiative in Bradenton, Florida, contracted by Manatee County. The scope covered approximately 2.9 miles of full base reconstruction and resurfacing along Lakewood Ranch Boulevard from University Parkway to SR 70. Work included sidewalk repairs at various locations, material testing, pedestrian striping enhancements, and installation of multivariate detection systems at all traffic signals along the corridor. The project required a construction team capable of coordinating a complex, multi-element corridor improvement under active public scrutiny. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the pursuit with a presentation and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges
The client needed to demonstrate its ability to manage a high-visibility public infrastructure project on a major arterial corridor. The pursuit presented several challenges:
Communicating a technically complex scope across multiple roadway improvement elements to a county owner evaluating multiple contractors.
Presenting a clear, confident project approach that addressed the coordination demands of a live 2.9-mile corridor under active traffic.
Differentiating the team in a competitive public works selection where technical competence alone is expected.
Preparing presenters to convey the team's qualifications and project approach effectively in a live county selection interview.
Together, these challenges called for a presentation that was technically credible and easy for a county panel to follow.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX built the selection presentation and provided coaching for the Lakewood Ranch Boulevard pursuit. The presentation organized the client's approach to the full corridor scope, from base reconstruction and resurfacing to sidewalk repairs, pedestrian striping enhancements, and detection system installation at traffic signals. The content was structured to walk the county panel through the project's complexity in a logical sequence, demonstrating the client's readiness to manage each element. Presentation coaching prepared the team's speakers to deliver the material with clarity and confidence, reinforcing the client's credibility as a capable partner for a complex public infrastructure project.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX focused on translating a technically detailed corridor scope into a presentation that a county selection panel could follow and remember. The team worked to make each component of the project feel well-planned and executable.
Organized the presentation around the key work elements in a logical order that matched how the county would evaluate execution risk: pavement reconstruction, pedestrian improvements, traffic signal upgrades, and corridor sequencing.
Structured the narrative to highlight the client's relevant experience and project management approach for each component of the scope.
Coached presenters to speak to the scope confidently and handle likely panel questions without relying on technical jargon.
The result was a presentation that made a complex corridor project feel well-planned and approachable.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a presentation and coaching package calibrated to the demands of a county infrastructure selection. Every element was built to help the client perform well in a competitive public works interview.
The presentation structured the full corridor scope in a way that highlighted the client's readiness across all work elements.
Coaching sessions sharpened each presenter's delivery and built consistency across the team's responses.
The client's team walked into the interview prepared to speak clearly about a complex, multi-element project under close scrutiny.
The client entered the selection confident, organized, and ready to make a strong case for the Lakewood Ranch Boulevard contract.
