Project Overview
North Carolina State University's Wood Residence Hall complex, constructed in 1983, comprised three connected buildings totaling 114,400 gross square feet in Raleigh, North Carolina. The aging two-pipe HVAC system had reached the end of its useful life, creating reliability and comfort challenges for the campus community. The project called for a full conversion to a modern four-pipe system to deliver simultaneous heating and cooling capacity with greater operational efficiency. With a project value of $8,000,000, the scope required a technically rigorous and well-organized proposal. PRESWERX was engaged by the client to develop the pursuit package.
