Project Overview

Hernando County School District undertook the design and construction of Eastside Elementary School, a new $150 million facility in Brooksville, Florida, built to serve the district's growing student population on the east side of the county. The project called for a modern learning environment purpose-built around the community it would serve. As a publicly procured engagement, the selection process placed significant weight on each competing team's ability to communicate qualifications, construction approach, and vision. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a complete pursuit package covering proposal development, presentation design, renderings, animations, film production, and live interview coaching.

Client Challenges

Competing for a high-profile public school project required more than strong credentials. The client faced several distinct hurdles going into the selection:

  • Translating a technically complex school construction scope into a compelling, community-centered story for a district evaluation panel with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Visualizing a facility that did not yet exist in a way that communicated design quality and educational intent before a single wall was built.

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive field where multiple experienced contractors were pursuing the same work.

  • Preparing the client's team to deliver a polished, cohesive message in a live interview under competitive conditions.

Each challenge demanded a pursuit package that was both strategically focused and visually distinctive.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package tailored to the Eastside Elementary School selection. The team produced written proposal content structured to articulate the client's qualifications and construction approach to a school district review panel. Custom architectural renderings and animations brought the future facility to life for evaluators who could not yet picture the completed building. A pursuit film added narrative depth and community connection to the submission package. PRESWERX also provided direct presentation coaching, guiding the client's interview team through focused rehearsal sessions designed to sharpen message delivery and build team cohesion before the live selection.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX engaged the Eastside Elementary pursuit as a strategic partner from the outset, aligning every deliverable to the district's priorities and the competitive landscape.

  • Developed proposal content that centered the client's qualifications around the district's educational vision rather than generic contractor credentials, giving evaluators a reason to choose this team specifically.

  • Produced renderings, animations, and a pursuit film calibrated to communicate design quality and community investment to a non-technical audience, making the unbuilt school feel real and attainable.

  • Coached the live interview team through structured rehearsal, stress-testing key messages and building the confidence needed to perform under the pressure of a competitive selection.

The result was a cohesive pursuit package where every element, from the written proposal to the live interview, told the same story with the same clarity and conviction.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a full suite of pursuit materials built to the standard of quality the Hernando County selection demanded, with every deliverable designed to give the client a competitive edge.

  • The written proposal gave evaluators a clear, organized portrait of the client's team, approach, and commitment to delivering a school the community could take pride in.

  • Renderings, animations, and the pursuit film provided compelling visual evidence of design intent and construction capability before a single shovel broke ground.

  • Presentation coaching brought the client's interview team to the selection with sharp, rehearsed messaging and the composure needed to make a lasting impression on the panel.

The client went into the Eastside Elementary selection fully prepared, backed by a pursuit package that presented their strongest possible case to Hernando County School District.
