Project Overview

The Hard Labor Creek Regional Reservoir Water Treatment Facility was a $127 million regional infrastructure project in Walton County, Georgia, designed to serve the drinking water needs of a fast-growing two-county area. The facility treated raw water drawn from the Hard Labor Creek Regional Reservoir, delivering up to 16 million gallons of potable water per day to Walton and Oconee counties. The scale and public significance of the project placed a premium on a compelling, well-prepared pursuit. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the competitive pursuit through presentation development, presentation coaching, architectural renderings, and animations.

Client Challenges

Competing for a high-visibility public infrastructure contract required the client to overcome several significant pursuit obstacles:

  • Communicating a technically complex water treatment scope in a way that was clear and compelling to a public-sector selection panel

  • Visualizing a facility that existed only in design drawings, requiring renderings and animations to convey scale and quality before construction

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive field pursuing a landmark regional infrastructure contract

  • Preparing presenters to deliver a confident, polished performance in a live selection interview setting

Each challenge demanded presentation materials that were both technically credible and visually persuasive.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit communications package tailored to the scale and complexity of the Hard Labor Creek project. The team produced a structured selection presentation that organized the client's technical capabilities and project approach into a coherent, panel-ready narrative. To help evaluators visualize the facility before a shovel broke ground, PRESWERX created photorealistic architectural renderings and animations that brought the design to life and reinforced the team's credibility. Alongside the visual deliverables, PRESWERX conducted in-depth presentation coaching sessions to prepare the client's spokespeople to present with clarity and confidence under the scrutiny of a formal public-sector selection process.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the Hard Labor Creek pursuit as a strategic communications challenge from the outset. The approach centered on translating technical depth into a persuasive visual story calibrated for a public-sector audience:

  • Built the presentation narrative around the regional public benefit of the facility, anchoring technical content in outcomes the selection panel could evaluate against community need

  • Produced renderings and fly-through animations at a level of detail that demonstrated design confidence and gave evaluators a concrete sense of the completed facility

  • Coached client presenters through iterative rehearsal sessions, sharpening message delivery and preparing the team for panel questions and time constraints

The result was a presentation package and a prepared team that entered the selection process with a polished, unified story.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete set of pursuit communications assets aligned to the demands of a major public infrastructure selection. Every deliverable met the standard required to perform in a competitive, high-stakes procurement:

  • The selection presentation gave the client a structured, panel-ready narrative that communicated both technical capability and project vision in a format optimized for a public-sector evaluation process

  • Photorealistic renderings and animations brought the unbuilt facility to life, reinforcing the team's design credibility and enabling evaluators to connect with the project before construction began

  • Presentation coaching prepared the client's spokespersons to deliver their message with precision and confidence, equipping the team to perform under the pressure of a live selection interview

When the client entered the selection room, they were backed by professional-grade materials and a team that was fully prepared to make their case.
