Project Overview

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County pursued the development of a new 15,000- square-foot teen center at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley, Colorado, at a project value of $4.3 million. The project called for a construction partner to deliver preconstruction services and full construction of a facility designed to benefit the youth of Greeley and Weld County. The client served as general contractor and needed a presentation package to make a compelling case for the partnership. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to develop the presentation strategy and deliver direct coaching ahead of the selection.

Client Challenges

The client needed to present itself as the right construction partner to a nonprofit owner with strong community ties and a clear mission to serve local youth:

  • Demonstrating alignment with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County's community-focused mission and a genuine commitment to delivering a project that would benefit Greeley's young people.

  • Communicating the client's preconstruction and construction approach for a 15,000-square-foot community facility in a way that built confidence with a nonprofit owner managing a $4.3 million investment.

  • Preparing the client's team to present as a true construction partner, not just a contractor, in a selection process that placed emphasis on team fit and shared community values.

Together, these challenges required a presentation strategy that went beyond technical qualifications to demonstrate genuine partnership and community investment.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed the presentation strategy and materials for the Greeley Teen Center pursuit and delivered direct coaching to prepare the client's team for the selection. The presentation package was built to communicate the client's qualifications, preconstruction approach, and commitment to serving the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County and the broader Greeley community. PRESWERX worked with the client's team to organize the pursuit narrative, align the delivery with the owner's mission-driven priorities, and prepare presenters to speak authentically and confidently about their approach to a community-centered construction partnership.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the engagement with a focus on helping the client present as a mission-aligned partner, understanding that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County was looking for a team as invested in the community as they were.

  • Developed presentation materials that framed the client's qualifications and preconstruction approach around the community impact and youth-focused purpose of the project.

  • Structured the pursuit narrative to speak directly to the owner's priority of finding a true construction partner committed to the success of the Greeley Teen Center.

  • Coached the client's team to deliver with authenticity and confidence, reinforcing the message that this was a team as invested in the outcome as the owner.

The result was a presentation that connected the client's construction expertise to the community values at the heart of the project.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a presentation package and coaching program that prepared the client to make a compelling case to a mission-driven nonprofit owner for a meaningful community facility.

  • The presentation materials clearly communicated the client's preconstruction and construction approach in a format that addressed both the technical and community-partnership priorities of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County.

  • Coaching gave the client's team the delivery confidence and authentic tone needed to present as a genuine partner in the mission to benefit Greeley's youth.

  • The combined preparation gave the client a well-structured, values-aligned pursuit package that went beyond standard contractor qualifications.

The client's team entered the selection ready to present not just their construction credentials but their genuine commitment to the community this project was built to serve.
