Project Overview
E.B. Frink Middle School was a new 116,000-square-foot public school constructed on a 40-acre site in La Grange, North Carolina, directly adjacent to the existing campus. Undertaken for Lenoir County Public Schools, the project included the phased demolition of a significant portion of the existing school upon completion of the new facility. The scope required communicating a complex construction sequence clearly and convincingly to a school district focused on student continuity and community investment. The client engaged PRESWERX to provide a full pursuit package: proposal development, presentation design, presentation coaching, custom renderings, animations, and films.

Client Challenges
The client faced a set of challenges that required both technical precision and accessible storytelling:
Communicating a phased construction sequence on a campus that would remain in use throughout the build
Visualizing the design and character of the finished school before any work began
Differentiating the team in a competitive public procurement process
Preparing the interview team to connect with a school board audience
Each challenge pointed to the same need: a unified pursuit story that was credible to evaluators and meaningful to the community.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package tailored to the specific demands of a public middle school project in a competitive procurement environment. The proposal organized the client's qualifications and approach around the district's priorities, presenting a complex phased scope as a clear, structured narrative. Custom renderings brought the 116,000-square-foot facility to life for evaluators who needed to envision the finished school. Animations and films illustrated the construction sequence and site logistics in formats accessible to non-technical school board members. Presentation coaching sharpened the team's delivery and helped them connect with a community-focused audience ahead of the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX grounded every deliverable in the district's priorities: student continuity, community investment, and long-term facility quality. The team built a narrative that connected construction capability directly to educational outcomes. Specific actions included:
Structuring the proposal around the district's continuity requirements rather than standard qualification categories
Creating renderings and animations that gave evaluators a clear picture of the finished school
Coaching the interview team to deliver technical content in terms a school board could follow
The result was a pursuit package built around what this owner needed, not a generic template.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a pursuit package built for a public-sector procurement where community trust matters as much as technical credentials:
A proposal that translated a complex phased scope into a clear, district-aligned narrative
Renderings and animations that gave the selection committee a concrete picture of the finished school
A coached team ready to communicate technical content with confidence before a board audience
The client entered the selection fully prepared, with materials that reflected the quality and weight of the project.
