Project Overview

The Fowler Water Reclamation Facility Phase II Expansion in Cumming, Georgia expanded wastewater treatment capacity from 5 million gallons per day to 7.5 million gallons per day to meet growing demand across the county's collection system. The $63,000,000 project included an upgraded influent pump station, two new membrane bioreactor tanks, a new chemical facility, and upgrades to existing systems and equipment. The expansion addressed rising flows from the Big Creek and Setting Down Creek basins while increasing treated water discharge to the Chattahoochee River. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges

The client faced a pursuit where a technically layered capacity expansion had to read clearly to a county water authority:

  • A multi-element expansion spanning a pump station upgrade, new MBR tanks, and a chemical facility required imagery that made the full scope legible.

  • A project driven by growth in two tributary basins required visuals that connected the infrastructure investment to the county's long-term capacity needs.

  • A $63M public water infrastructure project required visual assets that gave Forsyth County a clear, credible picture of the proposed improvements.

Together, these called for a package that made a technically dense capacity expansion accessible and evaluator-ready.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the Fowler Water Reclamation Facility Phase II Expansion in Cumming, Georgia. The renderings depicted the upgraded influent pump station, the two new membrane bioreactor tanks, and the new chemical facility, making the scope and physical integration of each improvement visible to Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department's evaluation team. The animations illustrated how the expanded capacity would function, tracing the improved treatment process from upgraded influent handling through MBR treatment and increased discharge to the Chattahoochee River. Each deliverable was calibrated to communicate the technical approach and the operational benefit the expansion would deliver to the county.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX focused on one core challenge: making a multi-element capacity expansion legible to a county water authority.

  • Developed renderings of the new MBR tanks, upgraded pump station, and chemical facility in plant context, making the full scope concrete for evaluators.

  • Produced animations illustrating the expanded treatment process, from improved influent handling through MBR treatment to increased discharge to the Chattahoochee River.

  • Calibrated all deliverables to communicate operational value, connecting each improvement to the county's capacity growth and reliability goals.

The result was a package that gave the client's technical case the clarity a county owner demands.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a rendering and animation package that translated a complex WRF expansion into a clear county pursuit story.

  • Renderings depicted the new MBR tanks, pump station upgrade, and chemical facility in plant context, giving evaluators a concrete picture of the scope.

  • Animations illustrated the expanded treatment process in operation, connecting each improvement to the county's capacity and reliability objectives.

  • The combined package gave the client visual assets calibrated for a county water authority evaluating a $63M infrastructure investment.

The client entered the Forsyth County selection fully equipped to make a credible, visually supported technical case.
