Project Overview
The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Terminal 3 Build-Out in Fort Lauderdale, Florida delivered a comprehensive modernization of a key terminal hub at one of the Southeast's busiest airports. Terminal 3, the primary domestic terminal and operational base for JetBlue Airways, encompasses Concourses E and F with a total of 20 gates. The project enhanced passenger experience, terminal functionality, and overall airport operations as part of a multi-phased modernization program addressing Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at FLL. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.
Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where terminal modernization had to read as a passenger experience upgrade, not just a construction scope:
A 20-gate airline hub required imagery that communicated the scale and quality of a modernized passenger terminal environment.
Part of a multi-phased airport program, Terminal 3 required visuals that made its scope legible as a distinct, high-impact modernization.
A Broward County Aviation Department evaluation required assets that conveyed passenger experience quality and operational improvement in equal measure.
Together, these called for a package that made a terminal modernization feel as passenger-focused as it was operationally significant.
Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Terminal 3 Build-Out at FLL. The renderings depicted the modernized terminal environment across Concourses E and F, capturing the enhanced dining, retail, and passenger service spaces that define the new passenger experience for a 20-gate hub serving JetBlue Airways and other carriers. Animations brought the completed terminal to life, giving Broward County Aviation Department's evaluation team a dynamic view of how the modernization would transform the passenger journey through Terminal 3. All deliverables were calibrated to support the client's competitive submission.
