Project Overview
The Forsyth Technical Community College Main Campus Renovation encompassed 72,000 square feet of shell space within an occupied, in use academic building in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The $14.5 million project transformed underutilized space into a commercial kitchen, computer laboratory, medical lab space, general office and classroom areas, public restrooms, breakout study areas, a testing center, a campus bookstore, and a wellness center. Because construction was phased to keep student facing spaces available throughout the work, the client needed a pursuit strategy that could communicate a complex, multi phase renovation clearly to a college selection committee. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to build that pursuit presentation.

Client Challenges
Renovating an occupied campus building demanded a presentation that could untangle a phased, multi program scope for a selection committee unfamiliar with construction sequencing:
Explaining how ten distinct program spaces would be delivered in phases without disrupting daily campus operations.
Showing what unbuilt spaces such as the wellness center and bookstore would look like before construction began.
Preparing the team to deliver a confident, cohesive interview presentation.
Together, these challenges called for a presentation built around clarity and visual proof, not just scope description.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a full pursuit presentation package for the interview, built around the phased delivery of ten program areas within the 72,000 square foot renovation. The team produced renderings that visualized spaces including the commercial kitchen, medical lab, testing center, campus bookstore, and wellness center before a single wall came down, giving the selection committee a concrete sense of the finished environment. PRESWERX also provided presentation coaching, working directly with the client's team to sharpen delivery, pacing, and command of the phasing strategy so the story of the project could be told with the same clarity the renderings provided.

PRESWERX Approach
With ten program spaces and a phased schedule to explain, PRESWERX built the pursuit around visual clarity paired with rehearsed delivery.
Translated the phasing plan into renderings that showed each program space in its finished state.
Sequenced the presentation to walk the committee through the project in the same order construction would proceed.
Coached the client's team through multiple rehearsals to tighten pacing and reinforce key messages.
The result was a presentation that made a complex renovation easy to follow.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete set of renderings and a rehearsed presentation built to the standard of a public college selection process.
The renderings gave the committee a clear, finished view of spaces ranging from the medical lab to the wellness center.
The phased narrative structure made a 72,000 square foot renovation easy to follow in a single sitting.
Presentation coaching gave the client's team confidence and command of the material heading into the interview.
The client's team walked into the selection interview with a clear, well rehearsed story and finished visuals to support it.
