Project Overview
Columbia County School District undertook the full redesign and redevelopment of Eastside Elementary School in Lake City, Florida, a $35 million project built to replace an existing campus with a modern facility for 713 students. The new construction encompassed core academic spaces, food service facilities, and support infrastructure, with no existing buildings carried forward into the new design. The scope required a compelling visual narrative to communicate the quality of what was being proposed to the district. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop pursuit materials and prepare the team for a competitive selection process.

Client Challenges
The client needed to translate a ground-up campus redesign into a coherent, persuasive story for a school district audience evaluating multiple competing teams. Key challenges included:
Communicating the full scope of an entirely new campus to a non-technical evaluation committee unfamiliar with construction procurement.
Differentiating the client's team in a competitive public procurement where multiple qualified firms were pursuing the same work.
Presenting the quality and vision of the proposed design through visuals before any construction had begun.
Preparing key team members to deliver a confident, focused live presentation to the district selection committee.
Together, these demands required both polished materials and sharp presentation execution.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced a full suite of pursuit materials for the Eastside Elementary School project. The team developed high-quality architectural renderings that brought the proposed campus to life before construction began, giving the selection committee a clear picture of the facility's character and scale. Complementing the renderings, PRESWERX created animations that walked through the new design in motion, communicating the spatial relationships and program quality in a way static images could not. The team also built a structured presentation tailored to the district's evaluation criteria and delivered focused coaching sessions to prepare the client's presenters for the live selection.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX worked alongside the client's team as a strategic partner from the start, aligning every deliverable to the district's evaluation criteria and the unique demands of a campus-wide redesign. The approach centered on three priorities:
Building renderings and animations that reflected the specific program and character of the new elementary school, not generic visuals that could belong to any project.
Structuring the presentation narrative so it read clearly to a school district audience with no construction background.
Running coaching sessions with the presenting team to rehearse delivery, sharpen transitions, and address anticipated committee questions.
The client entered the selection with a unified story, polished materials, and a prepared team.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete set of pursuit materials calibrated to the expectations of a $35 million public school competition. Each component was built to perform in front of a district selection panel:
Renderings gave the committee a clear, compelling view of the proposed 713- student campus, making the design tangible before a shovel touched the ground.
Animations brought the scope and spatial flow of the facility to life in a format accessible to a non-technical audience, communicating what words and floor plans alone could not.
Presentation coaching sharpened each presenter's delivery, turning rehearsed talking points into confident, natural communication under pressure.
The client's team was fully prepared and backed by materials that clearly conveyed the quality and vision of their proposal.
